I lodged my 485 visa application yesterday. Till now i haven't got my bridging visa. I called immi today and they told there's nothing to worry about it might take around 3 days sometimes. I hope it wont take longer. My student visa expires in 6 days. I feel a bit tensed now. Could there be any particular reason.

We came in Australia in 2009, my wife she just finished her Nursing degree, one of my migration agent said that I am not eligible for temporary visa because we came to Australia in 2009,is it so? Please help

Awsome explanation, but just one question? How can I get the positive skill assessments to apply fo the 485 visa if a requirement for the skill assessment is 1 year of experiance on VETASSESS process?

The Australian Government has announced extra 1 year post study work visa if you graduate from a regional University. So For the extra 1 year post study visa, it is mentioned that 1. Eligibility will include international students who studied at a regional campus of a metropolitan university. 2. The additional post-study work arrangements will become available in 2021, and will require ongoing residence in a regional area. Does it mean that after getting a degree from regional University like University of Wollongong, can you can work in any city like Sydney and stay in Wollongong and travel for work? Nowhere it is mentioned that you have to work in regional area when you are in subclass 485, there is only mention about ongoing residence. Will you still get 1 year extension on Subclass 485 post study visa?

Hi there, I'm a final-year student in Macquarie University, I've been studying in Australia for almost 2 years, and graduate at the end of this year. The unit amount I've been taking is 14 units (although studying for 2 years), which is lower than 16 units in the gov website. My question is that am I still eligible for 485 visa?
