Dr. Moyad, as you know, Placing permanent seeds is an art and requires lots of experience. Industry and economics and scarcity of skilled physician resources are pushing interventions toward external beam, regardless of the effectiveness and collateral damage. Finding a great physician who does the permanent seeds is well worth it. For me, it was Dr. Goy at Kaiser Hollywood. Excellent !!Much gratitude.

I wish that issues like secondary cancer rates and complications would have been discussed. I’m 61 and a non smoker and want to know that brachytherapy isn’t going to give me bladder or rectal cancer in 10 years.
