I'm not a singer really, but I have finished a bottle of vodka in my hotelroom in a small city in Portugal and the cleaning ladies let me be. They just laugh when I hit that high notes. This is perfect to shout in bed in the morning, with sunglasses on! I recommend everybody to do it.

Glad to know GTA brought all you GROMS here. All these tracks are classics we all grew up to . If it were not for a video game you would not appreciate this music. GTA: Vice City was ( in my Opinion ) Tied for Best GTA game of all time, right alongside GTA: San Andreas. The Heavily 80's influenced soundtrack has 50% of the Reason why I Have such a high regard for that game. I was Born in the early 90's, therefore didn't get to hear them & Bask in the 80's lifestyle with them 😓. Glad to still be kinda young tho Hahaha..point is, us 90's Millennials had that masterpiece of a game. That's our Nostalgia. 😁😁😁

I was a bit confused when I first listened to this...I noticed that there are some slight nuances compared to the original version, which this is not. Poked around a bit...found that this is actually NOT the version from 1982's East Side Story...rather this is technically Tempted (94) Frankly, I like this version a lot better.

The CD I have features the original version and when I'd hear this version on the radio I'd think I was really crazy. No one mentioned it was a different version. Until I just saw your comments, I'd forgotten about it. Now, my family would still say I AM crazy but this explains a lot about the song. Thank you for mentioning it. I should have realized when I's see it called Tempted '94. Duh!

So it's 1982. My good friend did the overnight at local FM station, we'd hang out all night, party, and make cassette tapes of the best and latest thru their system. One night/morning I have to walk home a few miles and the last song I heard in my brandy new little Walkman was this song. Went inside my house to phone ringing from a tearful gf who admitted the night before she had seen and slept with an old friend. I hadda say it. "Tempted?" (sob) "...yes" "Perfect" click! Sorry, Pam. This event and the story of it have entertained many throughout my career. Thanks!

I just did. I'm torn between the two but leaning toward this one. Everything is really better about this one. The guitar work; the drums; their voices - it's really the one I'm most familiar with - I just can't believe that at age 71, I'm just finding out that there really were two versions of it. I’m not crazy - there’s 2 versions of this song. And I like this version so much better, but it’s not on Spotify. You can tell because in the popular version, during the intro, the main singer says “I bought a toothbrush” around 0:06 - like he’s warming up or something. In my opinion, THIS is the better version.
