I just received a faux leather bag bottom in an issue of Simply Crochet -- but that issue cost $5.00 with my subscription (and would have been at least triple that amount if purchased at Barnes & Noble). The black handle crochet hooks remind me of some Tulip hooks I've seen online (don't own any myself). The Clover Soft Touch dupes look spot-on. The hook set with the solid color handles look like a dupe of Clover Amours. If I had to choose 1 or the other, I'd probably prefer mm sizing over US letter sizing to be printed on hooks, as hook manufacturers often differ slightly on exactly what metric size a particular US letter size hook should be. I own a set of Clover Amour dupes (made by Athena's Elements & purchased on eBay a couple of Prime Days ago), and they are my go-to travel hooks, as they are comfortable to use, but inexpensive enough that I won't be heartbroken if I lose one on vacation.

That ball thing is for Cricut scraps. I never though to use it for yarn scraps.

I was dying to get the clover hooks. C I e heard so much about out them and I got a nice set on eBay for $30 comes with I think 9/10 hooks whereas on Amazon they are charging $42.00 or more !!

Clover Amour are my favorite hooks. That’s a great price. I got mine on amazon years ago. I’m sure I paid a lot more than that 😂😂

I have never heard of this company before. I usually use Boye or Clover hooks depending on how my joints are feeling in my hands and shoulders with the cervical disc degenerative disease I have. I will have to check them out. Thanks for sharing. Could you please share the link to their website?

The crochet kit. That was a basics booklet. Not a step by step book. The glue stick you cut off the end and attach to the back of the safety eyes.

Yeah unfortunately, that is the down fall of Temu. You have be careful on Amazon too. Many of the sellers are based out of China.

agree. And yes, I'm very careful about what we buy and refrain at every opportunity - sometimes you can't get away from it (e.g. major appliances etc.) but if we can avoid anything from China it's very much a conscious decision.
