I have this yarn winder!! The little metal piece you have to kind of pull forward to lock it into place so it will hold! It was definitely a learning curve

Karen you should not be ashamed of that closet. It is filled with beautiful plushy’s, and your yarn is well organized. I had bought a yarn winder on Amazon and I ended up returning it. I felt it was easier to just hand roll while watching TV. I love your channel!

I would upgrade to a more sturdier yarn winder, such as stanwood. They have different ranges, but they are more sturdier and user friendly to use. It is a learning curb no matter which one you choose. I love mine, and use it all the time. There are many youtube videos on how to use the yarn winders, and reviews on a lot of different ones which might help you.

LOL I love Monica's Closet!!!! I need to look at your other videos to see if you updated the closet But if you have not ... a great idea might be those over the door shoe organizers ( but the ones that you can hang in the closet with a hanger ) for the smaller yarn. I love to mentally organize other peoples house while I casually turn my back to my own yarn issue behind me lol

I would looove a video of u randomly grabbing some of those scrap balls of yarn *like one or 2* and using them in a scrap busting project (like mini mushrooms etc...or amigurimi spiders)

Yes! Someone just gave me a tip to get the metal piece to lock in, and you’re totally right, it makes a huge difference! Ugh! I just heard yesterday that Furls is completely discontinuing the Odyssey hooks. Such a shame! I got lucky during one of their quick restocks a month or so ago. But they say they have a new line of hooks coming, so fingers crossed it’s good!! Thanks for stopping by!
