I have been ordering from Temu for 8 months. Close, bracelets, shoes and miscellaneous items. Everything that I was unhappy with or was missing was REFUNDED. It hit asn miss but in general I am very happy with the products. The wigs are great and a great value.

I frickin LOVE Temu! I've shopped there for quite a while and I have to say that I've been very satisfied for the most part. In my experience, I am RARELY disappointed, as opposed to Shein, when it comes to the quality of their products. I have had so many compliments on the clothes, shoes, and jewelry I've purchased! I'm about to move to a new house so I'm looking forward to buying some new decor and maybe even some furniture through Temu. Wish me luck!

The little glass display tubes with cork I really like... so much easier to clean and dust the glass than nooks and crannies of a stone left out. Too bad the zoisite didn't have ruby... fluorescent gems are fun and high chromium rubys sure do pop in uv light. But some ruby has a lot of iron that masks the fluorescence, but it does look like straight up green zoisite with black hornblende as is typical.

what they sell is a lot of over stock. if the BIG bizz that ordered (that will overcharge you for it) requested it didn't want it or had leftovers it gets sold almost at cost. But not every site or bizz is for everyone, that's way we have choices.

From what I've heard the issue with TEMU is that they sell items on their site that are blatant rip-offs of actual artist's original pieces/designs, and are using pictures of the original artists pieces to sell cheap knock-offs.

There isn’t probably one e-commerce company that does not duplicate something. It is not just TEMU. Here they pay you if the package is late, they will mostly refund without the return unless it’s shoes or something big. It is no worse then Amazon, Wish, Aliexpress, SHEIN. I can find a lot of TEMU selling on Amazon for more money.

@@marilynpeters9028 You may have had positive experiences with these platforms and it's your prerogative to shop there if you choose to, however, I follow several jewelry artists in groups where I interact with them directly and I've lost count of how many artists have found that their images and original designs are ripped off and used to sell lesser quality, mass-produced items on platforms like TEMU, Shein, Alibaba, Ali Express and even Etsy. They have had to jump through ridiculous hoops to prove that the work/images being presented are legally theirs and that it is copyright infringement. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying everything off these sites is cheap or that everything is a knock-off. I would consider buying certain items to use in my own crafting/practice, but I wouldn't buy jewelry or clothing.

Most of their tarot decks are counterfeit copies. Most of the designer-type jewelry is also lesser quality copies. If you check all the photos of an item closely you'll see one or two that look better than the others. The better-looking ones are the original design and the ones with less detail or a cheaper-looking finish are the one you'll actually get. Not that I haven't gotten good items from them! I have. After a while, you get a feel for what to avoid. Most polished "malachite" on Temu or eBay is fake.

She won't need to send them back. If she contacts them, they will immediately credit her account or refund, whichever she chooses. I've ordered crafting things and some rocks. You do have to read the description well, but that's the same for Amazon,Etsy, etc. I got a few things that I wasn't happy with, like the 30 loupe, a couple crafting items that were smaller,but they made it right. I also got one order that they sent duplicates of the few items that I ordered, When I contacted them to return them, they said "not to worry about it" it was their mistake. You do get A LOT of offers from them after u order once,but I have no issues. Also. And this is important for those who say they all come from China, most of my items come from inside the US(NJ,Ca,NC,etc).

I love your video! I use Temu quite a bit, but I never received anything damaged. However...I have received beads for jewelry that were supposed to be glass or crystal, and they were acrylic. I was able to use them and they were still worth the price, as well as beautiful. You do have to be very careful when reading the product description. For example, I have seen the description in the main section..."crystal glass bicones", however when you scroll down past the product reviews, there is another area for the description. Also, I have noticed that they are adding "synthetic" in front of more of the gemstones. 😮

I have been buying stuff from Temu for some time. The description of the items is almost always correct but you have to really spend some time to understand it as it might be somewhat twisted at times. I am ordering gem and rock specimens too and with a few exceptions they were good or fair. Overall, the deals are better than on other platforms. They were prompt to return my money when the package was not delivered and promptly offered to give me credit for the items I was dis-satisfied with. I cautiously like them a lot!

The material is less quality. So I will be making just throws for the kids to put on the floor to play on. but it’s OK for someone that is just starting to sew and want to practice making things. Have heard bad news about Temu but I’ve been browsing it recently and seen a lot of products that Amazon carries, along with some junk - Amazon’s standards are sinking, to be fair though. when you buy a loope , tripplet means there's 3 sections of glass to help with the clearity of the magnifications .. normaly 10 power .. I've been a jeweller for over 50 years .. IKasoy is the better loope

In my opinion Temu is Not a scam. There are different sellers on the site. You can see who you are buying from when you click on the item. Take that into consideration when you are choosing your items. Some sellers might be better than others. Like any shop you need to way weather the item is worth the amount you are paying for it.

I was ordering art supplies from Temu cause everything was so cheap. That’s cause it all comes straight from China. My best friend told me she read buying direct from China can hurt businesses here. It all comes from China anyway. But I went back to online US buying cause delivery is much quicker. Temu also will bombard you with texts and emails. I’ll have to admit, I was looking at their stones today😁. They use cm and mm. 2.54cm and 25.4mm=1 inch. Don’t go by their photos for size.

I order fairly often from Temu, and your haul is pretty much what I would have expected from what you bought. I'm cautious in what I order and I check the measurements carefully, so the results have generally been acceptable to sometimes surprisingly good. Thanks for the unboxing!

I ordered last year - the package took about a month. The kids t shirts were all good, material, size, designs. The other things shoes, women’s casual shoes, shirts, dresses etc were very small or very large. Sandals are made of heavy cloth covered with plastic, really cute and wide, a lot more durable than i expected. The dresses were all polyester, their photographs make them look great. I spent around $200, loved the kids t’s (5 of them) and gave the rest to a girls shelter. I listen to Kim Komando, the everything digital lady, she says don’t use this company. It is an information collection site for the Chinese government. What a way to get us goofy Americans! How about a bargain! They do email tons, offer lots of bargains, I’ve gotten garbage from Amazon too. Best advice if you know what the item is and are really getting a bargain or you just have to have it…….. it all comes from China anyway. And ROCKS! Oh my gosh, I never thought about rocks from them. Elly goes out and gets really beautiful specimens from Arizona, cuts them polishes them and educates. You know what she sells, oh wait, Elly has an on line shop, right? I have ordered many items from Temu including several of the rock and mineral items. I have been pleased with both quality and price. I got the crystal bismuth which I loved as well as some of the small spheres (druzy agate, dalmation jasper). Also incense holders, one of yellow jade and one of tiger eye and a cross pendant of opalite (Im not sure if the opalite is real but it is pretty). Everything was well packaged, arrived on time with nothing missing or broken. Ive bought several non mineral items as well and have been equally pleased. I will continue to order from them. Maybe some of those crystal sceptres and cat figurines!

The nice thing about TEMU is that if something does arrive broken, they will refund you full purchase price plus tax, and most of the time, you don’t even have to return the items which can be a real hassle.

I think the issues arise when buying stone beads. I've returned Lapis, moonstone, epidote, and garnet as either blatant fakes or mislabels. They’ve never been anything but gracious and professional processing my requests. I keep track of what I buy and where. Temu has a lot of popup shops, but you do find great stuff.

When shopping for natural stones or anything from Temu always scroll down to the description. The initial ad says something like chakra, but many are resin or other. That's why I always scroll down to see materials. Many of their ads are misleading and I learned that the hard way. With that said, they are really good about refunds. Sometimes they ask for a photo reference.

Your video popped up while I was "cruising" around KZbin and am I glad it did. You are the first female I've seen that knows about minerals, rocks and gemstones. Loved your reviews!! My father is a Geologist and he is the one responsible for my house being full of rocks, gemstones and minerals. Despite being hesitant - I have ordered a few gemstone beads and have been lucky that they are real. What I've noticed is that fake polished gemstones have a sheen like glass. There are no imperfections in the rock at all and no depth. Real gemstones that Temu sells don't have a high sheen and there is depth. Most times, you can see the variations in color, banding, crystallization, and so on. I'm sure if I continue to buy my gemstones off Temu, I'll eventually get a few fake ones. But the prices can't be beat. So it's worth.

I’ve been trying to learn more and found an app that seems to be really accurate. When I scan all the ones that I’m positive it’s always been right it’s like my plant up they’re both on my phone so when I’m out walking or at a plant shop or anything and I see a plant that I like but I’m not sure what it is, or I want more information I can just scanner and now this is the same thing. I’m having a ball with it so far and any crystals that I’ve gotten from Temu seem to be right.

I've had good products and poor products, returning 3 out of 10 items on most orders. Temu returns are wonderful!! Sometimes no need to return product for refund if small total cost of refund. Very cool easy process. Just a grind to know some products won't be what is described or don't operate.

Just found your channel! I ordered rocks for my young great nephew. I’ve gathered a few for him, in a clear egg carton (also Temu). I don’t like faked rocks, but can appreciate altered beads for jewelry, as long as they are not presented as natural. That is my “line in the sand”, I want honesty in my purchases. What rocks and minerals do you feel would be most worth getting from them, or definitely should not order due to being real vs. Fake? I have a rock polisher so polish is not an issue, but want to order some items and would love your opinion on which items are more likely to be real! Thank you in advance P.s. Elley, nice review of temu stone and crystal specimens. I would like to point out that if you want to see material floresce, do not use what looks like a long wave uv light, use a short wave unit. Yes, they are more expensive and you should wear eye protection when in use, it will react to so many other minerals and open a whole new world for you. Even microspecimen rubies will glow. Buying specimens such as Fluorite from China is a win. It is mined there and available so you can get some awesome specimens for your collection. Have fun and swing that hammer and chisel, wink.

Thank you for sharing your experience. One major issue with Temu for me is that they cheaply knock off jewelry designs from genuine artists who are trying their best to make a living. Worse yet, those knock-off pieces then often find their way onto sites like Etsy where they are sold as handmade. I have seen pieces that were bought for less than $2 offered for sale for close to $100 - as handmade. This deception hurts the original artist as well as the customer who believes they are buying a handmade item.

I’ve been using Temu for a while. Only one item was less than expected but that was my fault for not reading the dimensions properly. I’ve gotten stone spheres, points and specimens and all have been as advertised.

Temu is coloring with dyes like the videos people do with water bottles. I watched a video of a woman cutting them open to only be glass on the inside. You also have to check measurements when ordering

I have otdered alot from Temu and Aliexpress. I changed from Ali to Temu because of shorter shipping time. But the amounts you can get are small (beads) with Temu you can order a larger amount without them charging you for shipping like Ali does. Both places do pretty good, but they know most can't do anything about orders so they ship whatever they want. And one time on Temu l noticed a price shift from the time l addered to cart till the time l finished paying. Fortunately l wss able to pull it out of cart. Also their shipiing went from $15 min order to $25. They are after me several times every day to order, l will if l want but won't otherwise.

I ordered some cloths for my granddaughter. After waiting 3 months to get the products, I started sending emails. No success in getting cloths. I started posting on their FB advertising and at 4 months they returned my money. I was not happy. I haven't ordered from them since.

I know someone who had their pin design stolen by temu. The only 2 things I've ever gotten off temu were meh. The shirt I got actually fit me, but the illusion rug that was advertised to be able to be a average size floor rug like what you'd get from big lots or what ever the equivalent to the store is where you live is, actually ended up being a shoe mat that doesn't do the illusion thing and only fits 2 pares of shoes.

I love aura coating as long as its real aura and not the fake sprayed stuff from china, but its so hard to find since covid. :( Temu is awesome I have bought A LOT of things from them... clothing, phone accessories, beads, crystals, toys, and so much more. No complaints

Not a fan of China products. :( At this point it is about impossible to remove ourselves from them completely. If you must buy products from China at the very least buy them from an American seller so at least some of that money stays in our country......

The costs of goods are relative to the cost of living in any particular country/area. Items have to be higher priced here in America than China because it costs like ten times more to live here. What is your home, car, investments, worth ect? How much do you need to earn to pay for these things? That is why these cheap Chinese rocks cost more when sold by an American. Not sure what you do for a living, but I imagine you would not be too happy if your employer looked for lower waged workers overseas because you were "over charging them" and the Chinese will work for less than you will. lol! Not to mention many of these cheap Chinese rocks are made with child labor. :( The extra money you spend for the same item sold here by an American stays in our nation and is one day recirculated back to you. The money spent directly to China stays in China!!!! You and your children will never see that money again. :( These items are still cheap anyways even when an American re-sells them if you compare them to American sourced and made rock items. You want people here to charge the very same price as the Chinese but that is simply not economically feasible. Please ask your employer to pay you the same wages as Chinese workers and see how long you survive..... @@laurapersinger3608

My piece of fluorite was Brocken in half when I got it. My pack of four boho cushion covers were nothing like they said. I do like their tiny holed crystals which I make earrings with. Mostly they are real but not all. I couldn’t be bothered sending stuff back and I think they know that .
