That willingness to pay cards is my favorite aspect of Ten

I've played a lot of both Can't Stop and Circus Flohcati, and consider them both the exemplars of press-your-luck games. Ten seems like it might actually have a chance at joining that canon; I really like the fact that currency and numbers tug the "bust line" in different directions, encouraging you to greed it up with tons of flips... and then you're forced to either give everyone else a bunch of money or put a ton of number cards in the market. Thanks as always for the excellent overview.

You're welcome, Phil! I played another 2p game today, and my opponent did great by specializing in three colors and ignoring the fourth, which was unexpected. So interesting to see the variety of results within this tiny framework! -WEM
