Been a LMTB / season ticket holder for over 50 years. A genuine Salford Red. I have seen very poor United teams, the relegation side, teams under Frank O’Farrell, Dave Sexton, Tommy Doc and Big Ron but this lot are up there with the worst and this manager is a crack pot. I now live in Australia and watch every game but I am bored watching them. No identity, no fluid to our game, no game plan, easy to play against, too many individuals, no team spirit. I remember watching a Middlesbrough game in the early 00's, when a passionate and fed up supporter ran up to Steve McLaren and threw his season ticket at him because of the poor performance of the team. 2 things scare me about that. 1. Steve McLaren is currently our assistant coach. 2. That Middlesbrough team was arguably playing better than our current Man United team. We need to be realistic here. It is only by sheer fortune, with other teams dropping points where they shouldn't, that we are not in 14th/15th. That is the level we are playing at.

I reside in South Africa, am a fanatical MU fan & supporter and actually like Ten Hag However, today was an absolute disaster and I was rather embarrassed a few times in the quality of our defending and passing. Our striking was dismal too. It is time to let go of many senior players as they are arrogant, play according to their mood swings and seem to think they "own" the team. The youngsters have been fabulous. Bring some more of the chaps into the fold, from the Academy and get rid of "the dead wood" in the form of loans or transfers, as they are not going to change. Ten Hag took over a toxic and disjointed team, and in fairness needs a bit more time. No new person will make a difference. I am actually agreeing with Keane today too I am also of the opinion that the sale of the Club to Quatar then to Ineos/Ratcliffe and the latter is still "in the air" and this is not encouraging SO, DON'T BLAME THE MANAGER ALL THE TIME. We are dynamic in a bad way. We dont have any structure to keep possession or move the ball forward as a team. This is our pattern of play: build from back and reach till our half way line. Then try a long ball through middle or along the sidelines. We lose the ball and starts chasing the ball or press from front. If we win the ball back in that phase we try to play a quick through ball. If we lose the ball the pressing starts again. In opposition half, this is all we do and hope something happens. We cant string together passes and create chances by keeping the ball. When ever opposition beats the initial press, they easily reach our penalty box with simple passes and create much better chances for themselves. We are dynamic because we run a lot without the ball chasing nothing balls or opposition players

Now I’m a fan who never blames referees on results and I’m not going to start now. But…… last week Nuno and forest effectively shifted all blame for their loss to everton onto the referees and officials.
