It is a great signing from both Man Utd and Ten Hag point of view. I got two concers with this though, which could lead to the same old we've seen the last 10 years: Firstly if Ten Hag has what it takes to be as good in the PL as Pep and Klopp have been for City and Liverpool, or at least close the gap to those clubs. Second is if he gets his way with signing players, staff, getting a good structure in the club, etc. The last part is what has mainly been wrong with the club for years, so hopefully we can get back to becoming a football club, and not just selling merchandise.

As a fan since 1968 this is actually the worst bunch of players I have ever witnessed and that includes the team fighting relegation in 73/74. Over 40, 000 fans supported our team then because as inconsistent as they were, they fought for the badge and the fans. I think the majority of fans will be very patient withTen Hag, knowing what he has ahead of him. Where they might lose there patience is with the players and there attitude or if the higher ups interfere with the manager or his selections. This club will only succeed if the manager has full control, whether it be team selection, recruiting, youth, etc, if the interfering busy bodies get involved and dictate it will be the same as all the previous managers and managing the club properly will be like pushing water up hill.. To succeed you NOW have to make the football side first and the 'Brand' second. With success from the football side comes money from the 'Brand'. Every company provides something for it's customers, in this case the club provide, or should provide entertainment for it's customers, the supporters, that's the first thing every member of staff at Manchester United should think of when they arrive for work. It's not a lot to ask for, is it?
