I use these, they are great when your building a quilt, I keep my pattern, fabric, my scraps and finished blocks in them until I am done with the entire quilt

Another couple of uses: I make mostly throws and baby quilts. The 12" flat square bins are the perfect size for my project boxes. I can keep everything in one container as I collect fabrics and other supplies for a future quilt. I stack them together on a shelf until I have all I need and am ready to start a new project. Also, that same size is great for storing and protecting 10" squares.

I never knew about the 2.5" x 24" bins! I've got a ton of strips that have outgrown my bins. I just went to ArtBin and ordered 4. They are $14.99 on their site and they are $16.99 on Amazon. My favorite ArtBin product is their Super Satchel Thread Organizer. It holds lots of thread spools and keeps the dust off of them. I organize my spools by color from light to dark. As Michelle said, the latches are well-made and easy to open and close. Also, I like that they are made in the USA!

I have some ArtBin containers also, one for 2-1/2" strips and some satchel type. I also have some satchel style bins that I bought at Sam's Club in the office supplies section that stack well with my ArtBins. I use mine for UFOs, WIPs and kits that I've cut the pieces for. They are so handy to keep the cut pieces and patterns/instructions together! Being able to see inside the box without opening it is a bonus too.

My favorite kind of storage container is the Sterilite containers from Walmart. I usually get two sizes. One size for storing smaller projects and the larger for bigger containers. The ones I use are also see through.

I use the double deep Super Satchel to store fat quarters. Folded fat quarters fit perfectly standing in the bins and the dividers help keep them in place.

I love, love, love ArtBins - my space is overflowing with stacks of them, but I can see what all of them have and can straight to that project. I did find a new favorite at Joanns that are collapsible. Do you by any chance have a good wool pressing matt that isn't collapsible and doesn't heat up. I tried searching Amazon, but that was overwhelming. I found one on FQS, but pricey

Any stackable clear containers with sqarish corners. Handles are nice but not necessary. I used to keep my scraps and yardage in cardboard cartons 😮. Now, it's All in Iris cases, (or other brands), and makes my closet neater, scraps and fabric easier to access, and, the fabric smells better. It's unreal how cardboard can affect fabric. I also use clear plastic bins for threads, embroidery floss, etc. My stash is happier, my closet is, so now, I am also happier.

I love ArtBin containers, but unfortunately my local Joann’s no longer carries them. I tried to buy some online but they arrived broken so had to be returned. At some point I’ll try to order again.

I have 4 of those cheap floss boxes from 2 people filled with thread on bobbins and those boxes WILL fall open when dropped. One of our daughter’s cats knocked them off the shelf!

I have Art Bin with the handles. Use the plastic shelves put the Art Bins on their side. Put a label of the project where the handle is then put my UFO in alphabetical order
