Great video-I have the citizen and it is stunning both with the dial and case finishing. My daughter picked it up for me on a biz trip. Paid a little over $500 which is insane value. I also had her pick urushi and enamel dialed JDM Seikos for me which punch way above their weight class.

My two favourite textured dials in my collections are the Seiko Willard SPB237J1 and Zelos Aurora Hammered Nebula. Got a huge soft spot for purple watches (and I also believe you included it in your purple dial video) and this one looks great outdoors. It's also titanium so very easy to wear. The Seiko is much more subtle but the strap and Willard case combo is so pleasurable on wrist that the texture dial is just the kicker. Would really love to pick up the Citizen NB1060-12L or even the white/silver version as I have quite a few green or blue dialed watches.

These are great. The new gold plated meteorite dials from Formex look amazing (I own and love their hand-textured radiant bronze dial watch), and so does the engine turned guilloiche dial on the forthcoming Zelos Nova 2; it’s pretty rare to see a dial that isn’t just stamped for that price.

Buen tema el de los diales texturizados, sin duda es una de los aspectos más a tener en cuenta en un reloj para poder amarlo. Destacaría la calidad y aspecto del Citizen NB-1060, parece estar un paso por encima, en conjunto con un calibre miyota serie 9 de la propia casa, es una buena elección. Destacaría otro reloj para incluir en la lista y que sin duda se lo merece. Seiko Baby Alpinist, en cualquiera de sus versiones, con ese acabado efecto arena y degradado, capta la luz de una manera especial. Saludos

Great video thanks for the info, you can get rid of the flashing light effect between brands though,adds nothing & not good for some people who react to strobing lights. Cheers

Check out the Kuoe Smith’s, Wise AD8, and the Galvin Loimu. To be fair the last two might fall more into the 3d motif and Guilloché category lol…

Going to Japan in October and hoping to pick up a Kuoe so funny you mention them, very nice models. Not made my mind up what I want to get though. I've never heard of Galvin before, but that is some really interesting dial work for sure, thanks for the tip!

Citizen are doubling down on textured dials within this price range. They recently released the tsuyosa small seconds with a paterned dial and just this week I saw another citizen family that I think they are calling super titanium that includes an eco-drive chrono (CA4610), an automatic (nj0180) and a 3 hand eco-drive watch (aw0130) all with textured dials.

The branding is a little too large for me with them., using the full coloured Swiss flag makes sense but it does also limit the colour options.

@@ImpulsiveWatches Makes perfect sense. I just bought it for about $100 here in India and I felt the same. The hour markers are also tad bit too shiny and large. The rob the attention away from the textured gradient dial. But still at $100, this was my best bet. Any idea about the quality/ longevity?

@@Srinivas-cm8fx I don't have any personal experience with the brand, but that's the nice thing about Swiss Made, generally you're alright for quality and longevity as long as you take care of it.

In person, the Pagani dial doesn't look textured so much as it looks like it has sparkles. The textured dial is actually the weakest part IMHO. It otherwise punches above it's weight.

Weirdly it's the rate of improvement that has stopped me getting one of these. I really like the purple and green textured dial versions, but the watch is so much better than their first model, I feel like it's worth waiting to see if they carry on jumping up in terms of aesthetics before I get one.
