The TARGETjobs National Pupillage Fair on 1 December 2018 played host to around 1,000 students and aspiring barristers, with exhibitors from 30 chambers, law course providers and other bar-related professional organisations.
Those applying for pupillage attend the careers fair to meet practising barristers and find out more about their chambers and areas of legal practice. Throughout the day, students get professional insights on filling out pupillage applications via the Pupillage Gateway or chambers’ websites and learn how to present themselves at law interviews.
Each year TARGETjobs Law hosts an educative talks programme at the pupillage fair that allows barristers, lecturers, finance professionals, pro bono experts and Bar regulators the chance to speak to recent graduates and pupillage candidates and explain a little about life at the Bar. We bring videos of these talks to KZbin to help inform career decisions, advise those undertaking the job application and interview process and to provide an entertaining look at legal life in chambers.
