Is there a major sound difference in 3” single pipe and 3” true duals? Like sound difference/tone etc?

I'm not sure 100%. I went from a single 3" to two 2.5". The exhaust not got higher pitched so not as deep.

Your red truck, with the borla crate muffler videos with the headers did you have stock cats, high flow, or no cats? The tone is exactly what I want. Screams like a stock car.

@@mattofearle sorry I missed the part about the cats then. Sounds good. About to get some TSP long tunes and a cat back to chop the muffler out of for the crate muffler.

Would this be as loud like the Atak once the magnaflow is broken in. I love the deep sound of the mags and love the loudness from the Atak but fear it will be too raspy once on wot. I plan on having Long Tube Headers, Y Pipe Full 3in Catless Exhaust to mags with 4in tips side exit. Would this cause the Atak to be over raspy with same setup or perfect to make the Magnaflow loud?

@@e-ternallife8029 what vehicle? It should sound like the videos of the ATAK on my red Silverado. It has high flow cats but I've found they don't quiet anything down vs. no cats.

@@mattl1576 thanks. It's getting a stock LS for now just to have something fun and loud to drive again. Then I'll cam it and go from there. Just a toy I'll never stop playing with. I've had it for over 16 years.

How loud is this compared to the borla atak or straight pipe?

These are pretty loud. Almost straight pipe but enough packing to clean it up some. ATAK was louder because it was a single 3" vs these are dual 2.5" with x-pipe.
