I believe I have developed tendinosis as a result of repetitive computer usage at my office. My hands show no sign of swelling/damage, but everytime I use a computer I feel excruciating pain after a little while. Heat/cold treatment only reduces the pain for a very limited amount of time, and anti-inflammatory pills have not reduced the pain. My doctor ran no tests and didn't believe it was carpal tunnel or any other serious injury, but that I rather should just let my hand rest, but resting for 1+ week didn't produce any results at all, and I really need to use a computer for my work.

Can't find any relief for my tendinosis. Such a bummer. More than 6mo of pain. No exercises have been working for me.

Thanks for the clarification. Does Blood Flow Stimulation Therapy help for this type of injury?
@stefankalt55189 жыл бұрын
Thanks for your helpful video. As you know, eccentric loading exercises are sometimes recommended as a therapy for tendinosis. I am told that eccentric loading stimulates collagen production. Is the collagen produced in this manner organized into parallel strands or does disorganized, jumbled collagen production continue? If it continues, how can normal, orderly collagen production be reactivated? Thank you for your reply.

+Manu Kalia Hello, I hurt my right shoulder weight training back in October 2015. I had an MRI on February 1st, 2016 that showed mild tendinosis of my supraspinatus and infraspinatus rotator cuff tendons. I have been doing physical therapy since February, but I keep experiencing set backs. My doctor says that the next step is a Toradol shot if I don't improve from physical therapy. Toradol calms down inflammation, but I have Tendinosis not tendinitis. What should I do to heal this injury?

My problem is i have a bone spur on the posterior calcaneal which has started to aggravate my tendon where it is attached. What can i do to try to eliminate what feels like inflammation/pain in that area. Of course i feel pain when i try to walk. I have not gotten the proper treatment when i went to a physical theray session and all they did was to aggravate the tendon area more.

Hi. Thanks for the video. 1 question, how do you explain tendinosis with morning pain when it doesn't associate with inflammatory process? Just curious.

What are your thoughts on percussion messagers? I hear it's similar to cross friction massaging an area and can even go deeper.

Thanks for all the info it is very helpful! I just want to say I'm no athlete, but I have problems with my tendons above the knee. I work in retail and standing for long hours have really hurt me. I do my exercises that the physical therapist gave me but it still hurts. I'm in constant pain and I am desperate for some relief do you think a cortisone shot could help me? thanks again!
@ManuKalia11 жыл бұрын
Cortisone is not the solution to the problem. Might relieve you pain temporarily, but definitely won't address the cause. Contact me via my site with more details and I can give you more info.

I went to my podiatrist and he injected my foot and is making the pain worst in the next visit I told him about it but he insisted on injecting me again and to continue taking the anti-inflammatory pills.

all I want to know is if stem cell therapy can help shoulder instability? I may or may not have an anterior tear in my shoulder capsule
@ManuKalia8 жыл бұрын
Difficult to say. Relatively new treatments for most injuries. Mixed results. Might help with the anterior tear, but also depends on the size of tear. If it's too large might still require repair, rest and time to heal.

Having a hard time with my injury. I have Quad Tendernosis W a partial patellar tear. Im hoping to get back on the football field.. Any advice?
@ManuKalia8 жыл бұрын
Need time for the partial tear to heal. For the quad tendinosis and overall recovery of the knee check out more information on my book at www.tridoshawellness.com/k/bbk. Will give you lots of information. Work on massage, improving mobility of the quad and surrounding tissues and finally not irritating the tissue with more load.

ut 3 weeks ago, i rode a bicycle up & down over shallow rolling terrain for a coup;e of hours. the saddle was all the way down - way too low for me. now the quad. tendon area gets significant edema later in the day, even tho i rest the knee as much as possible. currently i do free wheeling / no resistance stationary bike exercise for about 15-20 minutes and before that, i do 10 quad and 10 hamstring stretches on both knees. this does cause the edema to happen if i don't ice afterwards. should i continue the ice after this regimen, as long as the edema continues after excersising ?? also should i incorporate the cross friction massage before or after this little workout ? - - thanks !
