Increase your friction zone by 60% and reduce clutch pull by 37% on your Yamaha Tenere 700 with the ‪@CamelADV‬ one finger clutch.
Technical off road riding with heavy clutch work can quickly fatigue a riders hand and forearm. Reduce rider fatigue while increasing clutch feel.

I've mine on the middle hole. Only downside is you need to pull the clutch lever right back to the handle bar to get a smooth gear change. If you're a bit lazy the change gets a bit clunky

I highly recommend the Camel ADV rear brake pedal as well, one of the essentials for this bike in my opinion. It gives a lot more brake power, feel and modularity.

I was looking into getting one. I just installed there one finger clutch form Camel. Did you go with a Camel ADV Skid Plate?
@ApocalypseNouille
@ApocalypseNouille 10 ай бұрын
@@AdventureTomek No, I went with the AXP composite skid plate because it is very light and covers all the vulnerable points (water pump, kickstand switch, rear linkage..) and adds a third attachment point at the rear so I can lift the bike on a jack with it. Loving it so far, and I've trashed the thing.
@ApocalypseNouille

@@bobsacamano5639 The rear brake fix from Camel ADV is not about lack of braking power, stock is strong enough when purged properly, it's about brake feel and modularity. The stock pedal bends easily and requires quite a bit of a push to activate, which gives and on/off feel. The brake pedal from Camel fixes that with a stiffer arm and better leverage point. That provides more subtlety (especially with enduro boots) when you push that pedal, since it doesn't require as much force and the arm doesn't have as much give. I don't tend to lock up the rear as easily and can modulate more easily when navigating downhills or rocky terrain. Also easier to lock up if and when I actually want to.

I've had Camel's one finger clutch as well, for at least one season now....love it, and mine is on the center hole! I have several things from Camel, all quality and worthwhile upgrades, including the tail tidy and improved brake pedal. Looking to get the kickstand and kickstand switch delete next! I do need to get a pair of those 'shorty levers' though, what brand are those on your bike? Great job on the video, thanks!

“Ride It” levers off Amazon. Actually decent quality. How is the tail tidy from Camel? The previous owner put this cheap off brand one on the bike and it has the license plate not sticking out past the brake light. Having pebbles, mud getting flung up onto the seat and my back. Thanks for watching!

Thanks for the reply on the levers! I love Camel's tail tidy, makes the rear end look the way Yamaha should have made it and is also well lit up, and solid! I don't do a lot of mud, per se, but I have done many miles on wet and/or dry gravel and plenty of pavement (just passed 10,000 miles on the bike! It gets a recommendation from me! Cheers from Kodiak Island....ride safe! @@AdventureTomek

Hey bud - I just watched/subscribed/Liked the first two vids on your channel - very cool! I like your vibe and style. It looks like you are in New Mexico - beautiful riding. I'm out in Prescott, AZ and my 7 month wait is over - my new 2024 T7 has arrived! The shop is assembling out of the crate this week, and should be ready by Friday.

Hi any reason why you didn’t choose the Furthest hole on the arm for the easiest pull ? I see most people opt for the middle setting …..

@@AdventureTomek do you think thats the best setting ? I have different handguards fitted on my bars so my levers are slightly further along the bars and clutch lever does not quite come all the way back to the bars or tho that said i want to be able to fully engage the clutch leaving enough space to keep my other fingers on the grips and not have to pull it so far back it hits them ….. would the furthest setting / easiest pull still achieve that ?

Got mine 2024 T7. Did 300miles so far. What i don’t like is that mine has very sticky gears. Hard to remove from a gear i really fight the foot lever. Easier to change on very low rpm. But when i try to ride normally gears don’t like to be changed. Did you have the same issue?

🤯 Nonsense! The new lever on the clutch has a longer arm, thus exerts more force to the detriment of travel and vice versa. Weight x arm = moment - this is basic physics
@AdventureTomek
@AdventureTomek Ай бұрын
Leverage. Load and effort
@TooWheels-xk5bz
@TooWheels-xk5bz Ай бұрын
The longer arm gives more mechanical leverage, making pull easier but as a consequence the arm moves a little bit less comparatively to the lever giving you a wider friction zone which is most welcome on the t7
