Theres some vfx in the movie. Like the final battle, some bombs exploding in reverse was actually vfx. And the building they had to do it in vfx. Just impossible how they could do it in real thing.

I really enjoyed "Tenet"- the directing, screenplay, cast, and of course the visual effects. It's so lame when people knock a movie/series/book, and music even, cuz they aren't able to grasp the ideas/concepts being expressed or even follow along with the story lines and twists. Or they don't appreciate the complexities that make a work stand out. That's not a failure of the director/writer(s)/songwriter(s)/musician(s) if others among us can follow it/understand/appreciate it.

I thought that much of what is complex and seems to lose people in following Tenet is explained in like the last quarter of it. Didn't get it the first time but still enjoy some aspects of the movie? Watch it again and see what you may have missed or what may be clearer with a 2nd viewing.

@@yash7461 First off the sound design was terrible. And when I tried piecing together the plot, and I finally did, It was worthless. There was no emotional feeling I had, it had barely and character development most of which was dependent on exposition, and I felt that most of the movie was just going nowhere. The Protagonist smh. Really? Let's be honest here Nolan needs to do something small scale that may not make the most money like the action blockbusters, but one of like a detective story, or a biopic. I heard that he said that he wrote a script for a Howard Hughes biopic with Jim Carrey. Jim is like the perfect age to play Hughes in his later years. Leo was very young at the time so this will be literally perfect. And the thing with Nolan is that he sacrifices a lot of the story for spectacle. Let's be honest his 2000s movies were better than his 2010s. His films may look very big and great, but quality over quantity always for me.

this video shows the best and the worst in this oscars,, the staging cinematography and proximity to the artists is the way to go, but when you are telling the noms you need to show the movies with the score, when the person who wins is going to the stage put the score of the movie on top,, this was the best and the worst oscars ever
