Ben sat down with Dr. Amos Song, MD to talk about all the latest in treatment of chronic tendinopathy. The 45 min talk including Q & A touched on eccentrics, Tenex, the latest PRP research, and how he tackles his case load.
Dr. Amos Song is a Physical Medicine And Rehabilitation Specialist in Bellevue & Issaquah, at Overlake Clinics as part of their Sports Medicine team. Dr. Song completed his undergraduate work at Cal Berkley and picked up a masters in Medical science at Boston University. Then he continued on and graduated with honors from Tulane University School Of Medicine in 2017. His fellowships was at the Montefiore (Bronx) Medical Center and also trained at Vanderbilt University. Dr. Song is a favorite of our team of therapists as he has such a diverse history of his sports medicine work. He has covered high school sports including football, basketball, and soccer. While in NY he also covered MLS on the sideline at New York City FC. Dr. Song has also helped provide coverage for the NYC marathon.
