I just snapped a CVD axle.. This helped a lot! Thank you! I was also wondeirng what changes were made with the 11101 and the 21101 versions. Makes ordering spares kind of a hassle.

The only changes of the two is the Lexan body and bumpers and wheelie bar. Everything els is exactly the same. The electronic can varies due to the model of esc that comes with the truck.

Good vid dude. I can't even get my wheels off the hex axle tho lol 😢
@ItsRCTeng3 жыл бұрын
Take a hammer or the back of a screw driver and gently tap around from the inside of the rim and it should come off. If that don’t work, use a soldering iron and touch it at the hex for 20-30 sec, then tap it again from the inside of the rim and that will definitely get the wheels off the hex. This method has worked for a lot of people. Hope this helps 👍

Hi, I have 2 of the same JLB 21101 cars. I crashed one so I'm using the parts off that one. I did get the dog bone out my JLB. But with my other car which is the same car..I can only unscrew the nut and the wheel is locked. (Not coming off) How can I take the wheel completely off when it's the exact same car.
@ItsRCTeng3 жыл бұрын
It’s fitted on real tight. Use a hammer to hit it off from the inside of the rim. Also, use a soldering iron to heat up the nut area so when it’s hot it’s easier to hit it off.

Brilliant video mate! In my spare CVD pack I've got 2 x really small grub screws. Not sure why they are included. Any ideas? Sorry I'm new to RC. Thanks in advance and keep up the videos please, they are so informative.
@ItsRCTeng3 жыл бұрын
Thanks mate! Yeah so the grub screw or set screw are used for extra security in holding the pin in place. You don’t really need it cause the metal shield holds it tight in place already just like what I show in this video. But, extra security don’t hurt. Thanks for the view and stay tune for more repair vids. Or if you have any ideas on what you want to see let me know and I’ll try to make a video on that.

@@ItsRCTeng Thanks that makes sense regarding the grub screw. Thanks for the quick reply. I'll have a think about what else you could include for future videos. Cheers again mate. All the best!

i cant even remove the wheels..just bought jlb j3 and the cvd shaft just broke..can you help me?
@ItsRCTeng3 жыл бұрын
Ok so a lot of people has the same issue as you so my suggestion is. Take a small hammer or the back of a screw driver and gentle tap around the inside wheels until it comes off the wheel hex. If that don’t work use a soldering iron and place it at the hex for about 30-40 seconds to heat it up the hex to loosen the plastic female hex on the wheels and that should make it easier to take off. I’ll also try to make a video showing the entire process of what I just explained. Stay tune and let me know how it goes. 👍

I plugged in a 3mm x 12mm drive shaft pin, but it keeps coming out. Is there a way to fix it?
@ItsRCTeng3 жыл бұрын
If it’s loose it’ll come out. It needs to be flush when it’s in the drive shaft so the wheel hex can cover it when you put the wheels on. I even use tape sometime to hold it down before putting the wheels on.

@@ItsRCTeng awesome wrenching bro the wobble is from the plastic square things that the hinge pin goes in . If you upgrade to a metal it fixes the problem. Awesome video . Very helpful 😎👍
