The Grand Ole Opry and just bar-hopping downtown were our faves!! Technically, seeing Bruno Mars was probably my favorite, but he’s not always there so that doesn’t count. Lol 😆 I loved how most of the bars had multiple levels and one level would have a DJ and the next level would be someone playing live music… in the same bar… so much fun. 💕🎶

I haven't been back to Nashville since the big flood about 12 years ago. We loved to go to Graham Central Station, Cadillac Ranch-now is Tequila Cowboy, the Aquarium in the mall. But I don't think any of those places exist any more ☹️. We have to go back soon. I want to try Justin Timberlakes restaurant twelve thirty club & the Red Telephone booth speakeasy.

For additional places to check out music where singer songwriters perform, check out Whiskey Jam (Monday & Thursday nights at Winners Bar), 615 Revival (Tuesday nights at Tin Roof on Demonbreun), and the Commodore for note up and coming writers. For lodging (if you haven’t found anything yet) I would look out towards the airport. It still a quick Uber into town but should be a little more budget friendly. I hope this helps! Pro-tip! The parking garage under the Capitol Building is almost always empty and usually only $5! Loved Matt’s dance moves! Haha! I think Garth has him some kinda way! If you haven’t checked out White Limozeen yet, you need to go! Just be sure to get a reservation a few weeks in advance… lol. I went this weekend and had a blast!

We stayed near the Grand Ole Opry and Ubered to downtown when we were there on our honeymoon a few years ago! We definitely did most of these touristy things while we were there and loved them all! I love how you said “for some reason… Nashville has a Parthenon replica” because we were like… this is random… but neat! Lol 😂 it’s a beautiful park there too!

Loved the vlog. My wife an i might need to make it to Nashville for a Hot Chicken tour sometime. 🍗 We have been to Hattie Bs in ATL and loved it. I want to get to Prince’s as well. Any chance that Matt could do a video explaining how he using your drone to get vacation video. I would love to get a drone but I’m not sure how to effectively use it and not get in trouble as to where to fly it. OMG! We are so sorry! Somehow we missed your comment! Thank you so much for you kind words! You always make our day! And yes... Y'all definitely need to make a trip! As for the drone... You'd be surprised just how easy they are to fly these days. The DJI Mini 2 is a great beginner drone, but doesn't have obstacle avoidance sensors, so it's easier to crash. If you've got a little extra in the budget, I'd go for the DJI Mavic Air 2 or Air 2s. Once you get the drone, download the "B4U Fly" app and it will show where you can and can't fly... and most times, the drone itself will know if it's allowed to fly in a certain area and won't even take off if it's in a restricted zone. There are a ton of great drone channels here on KZbin that helped me learn to fly and get better footage. I've still got a long way to go, but it's fun! I definitely recommend getting one! -Matt

Ohhhh so excited you are coming to NASHVEGAS! 🎉🎉🎉 ok so Dino’s (obviously but it’s a bit out of the way) but on broadway there’s Robert’s Western Wear (actually good burgers) FGL house, Miranda Lamberts (just opened and we hear nothing but good things, we can’t wait to go) & Dierks Bentley. 5th & Broadway you’ll find more food options that are more local but still such a cool vibe! In the year since you've filmed this ...15:22...Ernest tubbs record shop has closed. And I still can't believe that prime real estate along the river "acme farm" is still vacant. ⁉️🤔 When I lived there ,I heard there was supernatural activity in there that's why.. How is security at the Parthenon on the overnight. I learned a lot about its history it is the same scale as the actual Parthenon in Athens Greece. And the statue of Athena would look at me and blink ‼️

Heyyy!! So awesome! That’s gonna be a fun trip! Finding “affordable” hotels near the attractions (especially in Nashville) is a difficult thing to find. If you’re wanting to be downtown (near Broadway) there’s the normal stuff (Hampton Inn, Holiday Inn Express, etc). If you’re looking for a more unique/boutique stay, 506 Lofts is awesome! Also, Hotel Indigo is a cool one too. Or if you want to stay in a little quieter part of town, Germantown Inn in Germantown is nice! Hope this helps! Unfortunately not. In January 2023 they started enforcing parking fees 24/7. The Library Garage is the most affordable parking option Downtown. We also recommend downloading SpotHero or ParkMobile apps to find the best parking rates. Hope that helps!

Hey! Yes… I’ve done it a few different times. I’ve parked in East Nashville near the East Recreation Center. The street parking is all free over there, then grab a scooter and ride in. Other times I’ve parked on the street near Casa de Monte Cristo and rode in from there. Hope this helps!

The best way to get around without a car would be either scooters (they’re all over) for short trips and Uber/Lyft for longer rides. And yes! The reason there is a Parthenon 2 miles from downtown is Nashville is known as the Athens of the South. Nashville has 21 4year university's first city in the South to have public schools and there is a lot of Greek architecture throughout the city.

Absolutely! Broadway Street is family friendly during the day time. There’s also the Nashville Zoo, the Adventure Science Center, Centennial Park, Hop on Hop Off bus tours, The Country Music Hall of Fame, Nashville Sounds Baseball Games, Escape Rooms, and more!

Just got back from a long weekend in Nashville. It was our first time there and we had a great time. Our favorite bar was the third level of Tootsies. Next was Kid Rock’s bar, but to be honest that’s only because the band there Sunday was the same band we watched at Tootsies Friday and Saturday night. We loved Biscuit Love, but the 90 minute wait to get in took away from the experience. Our best meal and drinks were both at The Stillery. OMG, try the Dreamsicle at The Stillery. We also did a guided haunted walking tour around the state capital that was a little cheesy but still fun.

Hey Alexis!! We’re so glad you found out channel!😊 Germantown is a great area to stay (The Germantown Inn), but you won’t be close enough to walk to Broadway. And while there are bars and restaurants in Germantown, it’s not the hot spot for night life. If you’re wanting to walk to Broadway, your best bet will be to stay in the SoBro/Downtown area. 506 Lofts is a cool spot downtown is 506 Lofts. Hopefully this helps!
