Hard to beat any team that' stop ten if you can't run the ball well. Oregon has a mediocre to bad defense and still. Assume TN can pass the ball well when they need to. Not a throw Dillion Gabriel can make that Nico can't. Oregon beat you by throwing the ball almost exclusively. With TN's run game, Nico just has to be competent with the ball. OSU 1-13 vs the SEC. lol Just saying, that stat should scare you.

Im a die hard vols fan, but i feel the same way about this game as i did the Georgia game. This is a bad time to be playing Ohio State juat luje it was a bad time to be playing georgia back when we played them. They were coming off a bad loss and had blood in their eyes and looking to make a statement....and my Vols absolutely suck on the road. Until Tennessee can beat an elite team like Ohio State and Georgia on the road, i can't pick them to win.

I'm surprised at the confidence many Vol fans have in this game. Ohio State has the most talented roster in college football, the best skilled position players, and the nation's #1 defense. And Tennessee is 0-21 on the road against AP Top 10 teams since 2007. If this game was in Neyland Stadium it might be a toss-up. But in Columbus? Hope I'm wrong, but cannot see them going in there and winning. Ohio St has all the advantages.

@@EricBanner Your not preventing Sampson for going for any less than 150 and the TN offense as a whole will rush for over 200. That is set in stone..lol. If TN runs for over 200, TN wins. That has been the way of it for this team. If that happens, Nico could have less than 150 in passing and TN still wins. I'd Nico the passing advantage in the cold should we need to throw the ball more. Why? Because the QB's that are more of a run threat, stay warmer, plus Nico was the top QB and player of his class. Stronger arm than Howard. Should be a fun game. We barely threw the ball against Bama and been the case in many games this season. If you can stop our run, your chance go way up for winning this game but careful, TN can put the ball up ... See Vandy game, NC State game.

@ OSU’s run defense is just as good as UT’s. He can definitely go under 150. Will he? Idk. But it will be a good game. But UT’s tackles aren’t good so they better hope they don’t pressure Nico cuz if they do, it might be a long day for him. He hasn’t reached his ceiling yet which is high, but he’s been shaky this year. He’s only thrown for more than 2 td’s twice against sec opponents. Vandy and Miss State. Not even good competition. Rest of the sec games he’s only thrown 1 in each game. So we’ll see which players show up. And Nico does have a stronger arm but Howard is more accurate
