Legendary 5th. I was up there with TSU, standing next to JaKorri on trumpet. Let me tell you, that man got stronger as the 5th went on. He looked at us during Superstition and said "F. It, Im taking the whole crank section up" we were like, aint no way. That mane went off. Then on Word Up, yeah, you hear him. Over the entire band.... I was in awe. I knew he was the G.O.A.T after that lol T-Phiiiiii !!!!

This was my Freshman Year at State and not gonna lie, SU played Vice Versa as we were marching in and it knocked a little hair off my chest lol we came for them the rest of the night though! Definitely gave them that L. It was a good Battle though!

Tennessee State Aristocrats won this battle. They were more balanced, controlled, and clean and still managed to be really loud and energetic! Where is this TSU today? Lol Southern repeated songs from the halftime show and really ran out of gas in this battle. TSU got em!
