Mam Ik case hai, I don’t know professionally wo condition ki kya bolengey, will u please help me. I m explaining it...... mera neighbor hai 35 yrs ka, lockdown m wo sofa ki arm k uper neck rakh k movies dekhta rha, after some days, one day his neck became stiff and very painful at movements. Almost all movements were stopped and neck chin down (flexion) position m stuck ho gyi thi. Then I told him some exercises, heat pack, then after 3 days his other movements were back but when he bend down his neck, I mean forward bending, to do his tasks on computer or use phone, only then he was feeling pain at atlas and axis level, or in c1&c2. How this pain will be gone, what r the specific exercises I should suggest him. Now left, right and upside movements r ok but only head down movement is painful and restricted. Mam please guide me and tell me what will be the diagnosis of this? What is this condition called??

It must be muscular pain because of poor neck posture. In this condition, stretching of neck or scapular muscles are important or proper neck posture must be maintained. While sleeping.... in supine, one rolled towel should be there under the neck curve or for side lying sleeping, pillow should be under the head taki neck side me hang na ho. Other than that, neck ke kisi bhi movement ko pain ki wajah se resist nahi hone dena hai. Try to move neck freely in all ranges all the time .
