Beside the dumb over use of the name Karen for everything you think somebody does wrong she was actually right. The challenge system is super flawed since there is no set time for challenging. 1 umpire allows 10 second and the next only 1 or 2. This guy really did not give her anytime

@@TheMitchie21 The time umpires give depends on a situation. They give more time if the shot that is being quetioned is "finishing shot" in the point, meaning that the opponent wasn't able to return the shot ( ace or a winner). In this case point is over anyway so few seconds doesn't make any difference. But in a situation where point hasn't been stopped by an out call and player had a opportunity to keep the point going you can't wait to see if your own shot was in or not and then challenge. It was kinda shocking Nara didn't immediately give the point, but it's good that she eventually did. Not sure why Nara retired. Buzarnescu seems to have done that very intentionally, and I support what Teichmann did if she is right. Collins thought maybe the ball was out but decided to play it anyway. She absolutely waited until her shot went out to challenge. Sometimes umpires give the benefit on the doubt on that, but they often do not. AND THE BALL WAS HALF ON THE LINE LIKE ??? HOW WAS IT A FOOT OUT?? It sucks that she beat Ash. First, Golubic had an obnoxious reaction. Then she walked away even though Kalinskaya was getting ready to serve. The call was definitely strict (maybe a little too strict), but I approve because she was ridiculous. Golubic may have called the ball at a decent time for the challenge though. It was easy to tell her shot wasn't going to work, but the time frame was still pretty small. Kalinskaya waited for the result of the challenge and then played dumb. lol Putinseva
