Great video. Thanks. I think it is also worthwhile to look at the numbers. For example, if you put 50% of your serves in during practice, then you'd expect to have a likelihood of 50% · 50% = 25% double faults in matches. That comes down to 1 - 2 double faults in each game! Meaning you are serving against 0:15 or 0:30 in every game. However, if you increase serve consistency to 60%, then you only expect 40% · 40% = 16% double faults in each game. That's zero or one double fault per serve game. And if you get to 70%? 9% double fault chance, which is once every second serve game. So a 10 - 20% increase in serve consistency makes a huge difference for your entire match play. I always found that very soothing. It's doable!

I am absolutely struggling. Played today and lost 1-6, 3-6 against a weaker player. Everything was long. Felt great in the warmup and hit well. Couldn’t volley to save my life. Lost every game that went to deuce.

Wow you are such an inspiration. I really like yellow fuzzy balls and their insight. But you ace it by coming up with simple effective drills for nailing the first 3 hits.

very nice. Just doing the shadow stroke after a serve will help a lot in match play. Unfortunately short of having a ballmachine on a crate, there's not a good way to practice the Return of serve by yourself...

Very good drills🙏👍🎾. I also often return shorter than target, what are some of the things I can try?

Do count yourself lucky if you are able to find a practice partner. Most people are not interested in drills. That said, I do enjoy practicing serves by myself. But I confess to never practicing the return. Not good. Not good at all since the return, along with the serve, is the most important shot in tennis. One problem is how to practice returns alone. 🤔 🎾
