Nice walk-thru for this shot! I've been struggling with it for a while and even drilling wasn't helping much. But with Danea's advice on paddle position, shoulder direction, proper weighting, and suggested drills, things have really improved. It's a great shot when it hits!

I clicked on this video for backhand drop advice and found the person who first introduced me to pickleball at Burgess in Lubbock Tx. 2021. What a small world!

Which camera are you using? It's high quality!

Thanks for the tip. This shot (for me anyway) is a bif trickery than the forhand slice return of serve which drives my opponents crazy. Their balls usually end up into the net, result is their loss of serve. Backhand slice requires some great timing, etc.

Yes! I feel like timing is so big for this shot! Thanks so much for watching!

Sorry for the spelling, but I feel it's also important to already be in position for backhand return and have a continental grip on the paddle with support hand behind paddlle doing a split step just as they're serving. That way you can get a "jump" on the ball. Like she said, make sure paddle up with strong grip turning shoulder at 90 degree to net. Thanks

This was a good video on the backhand. It’s the same as in tennis. Thanks for the technique reminders!

Question, you said to keep your non dominant hand on the paddle to not get wristy. Ben Johns however and other top players don't usually have their non dominant hand holding the paddle. When you have good fundamentals, can you take that other hand off? Thanks!

Can you talk about how to control the height and depth of the drop to land in the kitchen?

Where should the ball land, in the kitchen or more towards the baseline?

She said it's a drop. Do you drop towards the baseline? Never

Great video! Please don't take this observation as something negative or hateful ok?🙏 In the slow motion , your making the contact with the ball a little too close to your body. I think it show be just a tad further in front of you. Many blessings!

I'm running into an increasing number of people complaining about not being able to guage the path of the pickleball because of it's color. This is happening indoors and outdoors. Can you address this please?

love channel - but the music and graphics punctuation every word are really distracting.
