can anyone confirm if they beefed up the forefoot midsole cushioning ? previously it is way too law to the ground and 5mm less than competitors.

I don't know the dimensions of the stack. However, I have played in them a few times, and for me they are still fairly low to the court in the forefoot. In terms of a plush feel or cushioning, I felt like the Uber 3 did a good job of that, however the complaint that some had with that one was that the upper was a bit too soft, and it maybe lacked some support and stability, like in terms of lateral cuts. While we are loving this update, don't get us wrong, these won't be the most durable shoes in adidas' lineup - that still goes to the Barricade. If you are sliding on hard courts and scraping the uppers on the abrasive court, you still will be burning through these shoes. Possibly better than versions from the past, but with their lighter weight they still are going to be less durable than some of the beefier adidas shoes. Michelle, TW

But isnt it heavier than ubersonic 4 so what is even the point it is meant to be a lightweight shoe not a super stable shoe. TW please dont let all the shoe companies go away from light shoes. It was the same with the nike vapor pro. Beefed up is so wrong.

If you want to focus on lightweight with your shoe choice I highly recommend the adidas Defiant Speed 2. It's one of my favorite shoes to play in, lasts WAY longer than such a lightweight shoe should and provides ample cushioning for me. I believe it has also been the shoe choice for Zverev so it works at the highest level, too. Cheers, Chris, TW.
