I agree with you fully. One thing: the 2021 Head Prestige Tour (with a bit of added weight) is WAY BETTER even if it’s a smaller head size. I’ve tried them all and I love my 2023 Head Gravity Pro (lots of lead tape added and a SW of 360) with Alu power at 26/25 kilos. Now we’re talking!

I've been playing the Prestige Tour Auxetic 1.0 with a 16x19 for a little while now (stock), and I have to say that I absolutely adore it. As long as I keep my feet active to hit the ball in the right place, then the ball drops in the court exactly where I want it to. It's a racquet where you only get out what you put in to it, but you'll be rewarded if you put the effort in. I wouldn't be recommending it to most players I know, but for someone with a long swing that knows how to generate a lot of power and spin from technique, there is no better racquet.

After ~3-4 years with the 2019 Prestiges, I am finally giving in and moving to an easier frame 😅Love the Prestiges but so difficult to get the most out of them (i'm only NTRP 4.5) and i'm not as young as I used to be lol

Going to the Gravity Pro from 13 years of various Prestige racquets, I can honestly say it’s changed everything for me. So much better in defence and digging out of the corners. So much more forgiving and faster through the air too.

I play with the 2021 Tour 16x19 with Auxetic 1.0. I think that the key with these frames is to string them at a tension that you can handle. The reason that these can feel difficult to play with besides the small head size is that people try to emulate the pros in every possible way without considering their ability. It’s already tough enough using a frame designed for advanced players, but then stringing it too tight with an unforgiving poly and adding weight that reduces the headlight balance makes it unplayable for most. Instead, swallow your pride and try a softer poly or hybrid setup in the 40s tension-wise. And if you want to add weight to boost the swing weight, add it to the handle so that the maneuverability is still there, which is what I expect is what most people playing prestige’s are after since it seems like anyone that plays them has a one-hander and an attacking all-court game. I’d wager that most people have enough weight in the head because of the CAP grommet/bumper system. I usually go with a hybrid setup at 44 pounds in the mains and 46 in the crosses. It still won’t be as forgiving as a tweener racquet or a spin/power frame but it will feel plush and comfortable and you should be able to get decent depth and pace.

I'm from the US and imported this racquet from TWE. Compared to the PT630, this racquet provides less free power or spin, and basically, swinging anything less than 80% of your typical speed will result in a short ball. Having said that, if you are a fit player who commits to full swings, the precision is unreal. To compensate for the lack of free power, I have strung down about 5-10%, and added about 3-4g of lead at 12 o'clock. This racquet may benefit from much lower tension.

I've been playing with the Prestige MP 18x20 since 2011 (though the MP could now be the Pro with the renaming a few years ago). Part of the reason for the Prestige, though, is the precision and why. On Andy, he's getting more easy depth on his groundstrokes with the Ezone and he probably should have switched some time ago. I don't think that I'd want a 16x19 Prestige. If I wanted more spin or power, I'd go with something that was designed for it like the RF97. On the lady hitting - I don't see very many forehands that aren't modern forehands anymore. I have weight between 10 and 2 and it works well. I think that the Prestige is already stable so lead at 3/9 isn't as efficient in using the least amount of lead tape. The paint job looks great. Dark maroon is classic. I just looked at the price of these - quite the shocker. That's what happens when your racquets are 13 years old and you haven't bought one in ages.

2023 Prestige MP is massively underrated. 18x19 pattern, 21.5mm beam, 62 stiffness and a 99sq in head. Sw is about 330 strung. God tier frame

After watching your review of the prestiges 2021, I switched from my blades v7 18x20 to prestige mp 2021 18x19 (310 grams). Right off the bat, I already found prestige mp to be more controlled and stable at the net and for return of serve than my customized blade (4 grams each at 3 & 9).The feel is much livelier and more buttery than my blade. Prestige mp has slightly more spin than blade, so I could hit flat and topspin shots more consistently I could from the baseline without sailing the ball out. The downside is that it lacks power for serve, quite stiff and has smaller sweet spot. Stringing Solinco hyper G at 22.5kg, I often got some shoulder pain after playing intensively for a long period of time. I decided to put lead tapes like Djokovic's set up (1 to 5 and 7 to 11), bringing the racquets up to 359grams total. My opponents said that my serve has way more pace and my groundstroke is much heavier. The lead tapes enlarged the sweet spot and seemed to remove the vibration and shoulder pain. My only problem now is swinging the racquet without getting tired in competitive matches.

Hello Jonas, the problem I see with the 16x19 Prestige is the lack of swingweight, Tennisrally also said it. I also have a 2019 Prestige mp and I'm trying to make it more competitive. I recently tested it using Yonex Poly Tour pro 1.20 at 20kg and now it's very good for topspin mantaining the precision, also I can play flat whenever I want. The only problem is that it's still a Prestige, sometimes my ball lands short or at the net but that's not the racket fault. I probably will try adding lead at 3 and 9. I'm also using a Prokennex Black Ace 315 and I can't choose between these two 😅

Added some weight to the 1619 2021 prestige S and it became the best racquet i have ever played. Got the stability, power, and manuverbility. The prestige 2021 mp was a totally different racquet though, would like to try the frame with 1619 pattern

Hi Jonas, I've tried a few of these rackets, but cant get past my modified Yonex DR98 (alu power 52 lbs). That is very sweet when freshly strung, amazing power, and good launch angle. For someone 6"4', I'll take the power on the serve any day to set up the +1. Anyway, I'm going to be at Sergio's from July 6th for 3 weeks. I would love to finally come and say hi in person, and maybe have a hit if you're around. Best, Rob

I actually prefer the Prestige Tour or a customized Prestige MPL over the pro. I think the tour has a thicker or stiffer hoop that gives it a more connected feel.

I`m a Prestige player but I play with two older 2019 red pro, 95 in models, It`s what I prefer, and yes it`s a demanding racquet, but to me, it`s worth it for the precision and yes, I prefer to play with a one hand backhand, which I believe this racquet excels at. I have a 2019 MP, 98 in Prestige also which I like when using the two hand backhand.

I have the 360+ MP and its good. But after getting an old Microgel Mid, then the classic 2.0, the MP felt way too sluggish with that 98 head. Definitely takes more work, but my serving feels way better on those small heads. And the control is noticeably better too. And you really know when you mishit. When i tried Auxetic Pro, it was way too mushy. For a bit more forgiveness i picked up a 16x19 360+ mid, and man, that has THE best feel for a 1hbh (and I'm a 2hbh user). Also appreciate the extra margin over the net, and still fast swing speed with the 93 head.

Big fan of your videos. My comment is unrelated to the prestige… I’m from the US and noticed you are wearing a nordicdots shirt. And wanted to call out I have their white tennis bag - which I love and get tons of compliments on! They have a very small presence here in the US wondering if you have seen their bag? Anyway, Keep up the good work - Love your videos!

I haven’t tried the 2023 Pro as by all reviews it just sounds a bit too demanding compared to the Tour, I love the Tour however, 95sq head is quick though the the air and it’s quite manoeuvrable..44LBS with Lynx👌They come strung way too tight, still felt soft off the ground with the higher tension but was an arm shredder on serves

This is true. I've had this racquet for a few months. If you string it at your regular tension you will wonder if you should be lifting weights, but string it 45 or sub 45 and you will have something more in line with 50 on other racquets.
