By this time Rick Dees was fresh from Alabama and George Klein was on his second wind in Radio. Harry simpson was a late night Sleeper Cool D J . Radio was changing the commercials were more energetic than the D J's other than G K and Dees

October/November 1975 I was living in Memphis. Real possibility I heard some of this live. I was in 7th grade then. I won an album from WMPS about then. The band was Jigsaw. Album sucked.

From that album they had 2 hits "Sky High " which is a BMI award winning song (Million selling single) and "Love Fire" which was just a top 30 hit

There was a football team called Memphis Southmen. They were called Memphis Grizzlies due to the logo.

@@tnskyhawk USFL They WON the lawsuit against the NFL and were awarded $3.00. They had a good team. The coach and the best players played for the NY Giants. Danny White went back to the NFL Dallas team.

The Grizzlies were in the WFL. They were to have been the Toronto Northmen, but quickly moved to Memphis when the CFL objected. Memphis's USFL team, which came later, was the Showboats. The NBA Grizzlies moved from another Canadian city, Vancouver.
