Currently on my iPad because my phone would totally not allow me to get this far…. I’ve been locked out most of the day after restarting it. I couldn’t type in the password! Every time I try, it puts the wrong thing & the lockout time increases. 🤦🏾‍♀️ Hopefully something here can work for me.

Update: nothing helps! It would stop on its own & a week or two later, begin again. I couldn’t even dial out without it hanging up & calling random numbers. It called 911 one day & I said eff this. Went got an upgrade. Even that took longer than usual because it took over an hour to type in my iCloud password. 🤦🏾‍♀️

I put my iphone 11 on Assistive Touch and it worked wonders for me. It's not a permanent fix but as long as you put the touch icon away from the problem areas on your phone it will regain normal function.

What worked for me was opening the phone and disconnecting all cables and cleaning the contacts with a q-tip and alcohol and letting it dry then connecting all cables back. It’s been about 2 weeks now with no ghost touching.
