I just bought one with the zero x1i last week. There are trade offs in everything including this bow. I’m shooting 2” groups at 50yds with it but I think there’s some stability issues with the short shafts. Even at 34, 40, or 50yds they are not entering the target perfectly straight or perpendicular to the target face and I’m shooting off a stable BOG death grip tripod. These bolts kinda give you a perception of darts. Be advised that the 440fps speed, is with a lighter bolt than your standard Ten Point 20” bolt. I weighed them and their 33 grains lighter than a standard Ten Point 20” bolt (+or- 1-3 grn’s). I’d like to know what a 20” bolt speed would be out of this bow. I have to set up and chronograph mine with broad heads and I want to shoot some 200lb Axis or hogs as soon as possible to see if I can get clear “blow through” with these crazy short bolts. I’m in Tx so can hunt any time. If I can’t, I’ll sell the bow. At the $4,000. Price tag paid for my package I’m still concerned about enough kinetic energy with these ridiculous short bolts for hunting. I must say though; it’s a dream to cock and shoot. It literally cocks effortlessly. Btw: I’ve only shot maybe 14 times or so but it’s dialed in pretty good. I need test on an animal ASAP. Any thoughts regarding my concerns?

Thank you for your comments. I think the short bolt will be fine. I would not shoot another size out of it without talking with the manufacture. These bows are pretty high tech so not sure what happens when the arrow weight changes.

If you use heavier bolts, would damage it? I think light bolts could damage the cross bow.

Their bolts cost too much three four hundred dollars talkin about ripping people off
