The children were not "Israel's children" as Netanyahu claims. They are Syrian citizens, native to the area and living in Syrian territory occupied by Israel. The locals have reported the children were killed by missile fragment resulting from an Israeli Iron Dome rocket intercepting a Hezbollah rocket directed at a near by Israeli military post. Israel, desperate for a wider war to deflect from their Gaza failures, present this as a direct Hezbollah attack in order to motivate U.S. involvement in support of their attack on Lebanon. Israel is being beaten and the USA is their only real option to save their nation from absolute destruction by regional Axis of Resistance forces.
