Second night wild camping in the heavy rain using My oex lynx ll lightweight backpacking camping tent .
my second channel
/ @hyrh2324
this time we find are self struggling to camping because all the places we was going to try was full of people enjoying the sunny evening.
we find a night pice of pine woodland on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales.
just the small woodland to get 3 tent setup. wild camping is not all about be deep in the wild woodland it's more about just getting out there and having a night time and enjoying to Mother nature ,
PLEASE REMEMBER LEAVE NO TRACE AND BE SAFE .

Hi Dan I love hammock camping, and the sounds of rain on the tarp is absolutely relaxing, I love laying there and watching the rain fall off the tarp about 3 foot away. Problem is I do about 20 mins and I am asleep, 2 years ago at the Bushcraft show we had heavy rain plus thunder and lightning, several of were awake watching it. Thanks for the video, take care.

I like camping in clear, dry weather. I really really like the occasional rainstorm like what you're doing in the video. I think it is so calming to fall asleep listening to the sound of the rain or hearing a brook or stream in the background. I love it! You're a lucky man Boss! You live in a beautiful country..

If you don't want to be a couch potato get out and camp in all weathers it's a stimulating experience. Nature sounds are different in changing conditions. Nothing worse than wet gear Dan so dry pack's a necessity for me. I'd forget my head lately if it wasn't screwed on mate so you learn to cope with bad situations but can't believe you forgot FOOD. Did my first 2 nighter this weekend just gone in Dartmoor. Was fantastic. Definitely a different level than the single nighter's, takes much more constitution. Especially if you're adding in a bunch of up and downhill hiking with a heavy bag. I need to work out more...

Nice little video as usual. I have taken my dogs out camping and they have enjoyed the experience. I however once forgot to take dog food on one camp and it was the only dog that I have ever had that would eat dog food and nothing else. So imagine who was in the bad books that night. Thankfully it was only a one nighter. She eventually forgave me when we got home the following day . When you were talking about what you do in the woods , I saw a video this morning that was talking this and explaining about the benefits for your health and especially mental health. In the UK its called Sensory walking and the Japanese call it tree bathing . When the woman explained what it was , I realised that I already do it and have done as long as I can remember. Keep well and safe Mate .

I’ve enjoyed this video great, however may I make a suggestion like I’ve said I enjoy your videos but camping is a great outdoor activity but could you start employing some Bush Craft as this is a subject of great interest & you may find it hard to do at times but this will enhance your survival skills thus giving you an extra dimension in your productions. You will stop that boredom feeling which you often comment about but occupying your mind with something else will benefit your camping skills. Keep up the good work and thanks for sharing.
