I’ve noticed that shooting B&W in cities usually just works, and I agree that it looks amazing for Paris
@teocrawford2 жыл бұрын
Right!? I wonder how it is in more modern cities. Paris' old architecture is what initially gave me the B&W vibes, but maybe it's cities in general🤔🙌🏼

I liked that you kept the video also in bnw to not disturb the viewer from the bnw pictures. Very nice!

Brilliant video Teo, Love the use of B&W. Enjoyed the more casual photos you took, just have that relaxed feel about them. Looks like you had a wonderful time and such great location for inspiration. The photos that have people in them stand out, I think there is a timelessness to people shot in monochrome. Thanks for sharing!

This is a horribly dumb question, but how do you get your roll ready to develop the film?? I purchased two cheap film cameras to practice and when the roll was done, took the film out of the camera. Am I supposed to put the film back in the roll? Do I wrap the film around the roll? Do I cut the film off of the role (which I stupidly did before checking)? I feel like an idiot!
@teocrawford2 жыл бұрын
Ohh nooo, you took it out?😬 I mean it's not a dumb question at all, a classic beginner mistake, but I'm sorry to tell you that if you took it out, your photos are gone😩 When you finish shooting, you roll it back into the canister inside the camera. SLRs usually have a lever to do that, whereas point and shoots often do it automatically. What is important is, that the film doesn't get into contact with light, therefore taking it out is the end :( May I suggest that you watch this beginner's guide to get a basic understanding of how this works? In the video I also explain the part about getting the film out of the camera in more detail: kzbin.info/www/bejne/d6mXiqFna7eqbtU Ahhh I feel sorry for you that this roll got messed up, but next time it'll work👏🏼💪🏼

For someone that doesn't do a lot of street photography, these came out incredible! I've never been able to make black and white pop like that so major props to you man! I especially love the stair shot at 08:47.
