I don't think it would be a stretch to say you are probably my favorite photographer to follow. All your pictures are a massive inspiration and have this feel to them that just captures a moment so well. Honestly, if you ever make a photography book with some thoughts alongside each image like your videos often have, I'd buy it immediately.

Another great video, thanks for giving us look at this "normal" side of Japan. Litlle bit different than what we see in movies. I really love it. Your voice and good choice of music really emphasis the overall feeling of the video. Absolutely love your stuff! It's truly beautiful and it inspired me to learn about film photography. Begginer question: The pictures in this video are edited a little bit, right? They just look sooooo good!!!
@teocrawford Жыл бұрын
Ahhh the good old question that in my case has an overcomplicated answer haha😅 Filmscans are always edited, it doesn’t matter whether you scan yourself or let a lab do it. Each lab is going to look different because they have their own way of editing the scans. The editing is necessary because the scanner will not perfectly interpret your negative. So with my negatives I convert them, then correct them and if necessary or suitable I might add a little colour grading for more characters, but my scans aren’t edited much more than many labs would edit your film, I just try to get the most out of my negative🙌🏼☺️

Hi, someone please aswer me :} I was wondering if shooting videos in which strangers' faces are clearly seen isn't a problem? Sometimes I see a perfect view, that i would like to photograph or make a video of, but I feel awkward shooting someone's face 🥲 It feels illegal😆
@teocrawford9 ай бұрын
It depends on the country, you’ll have to lookup the laws. Where I’m from it is not an issue, because there is no expectation for privacy in public. Also what I do falls under the protection of artistic freedom. However I think Korea for example is much more strict, so if I ever go there I will have to check the rules. Also basic morals are of course to be applied. I would never publish a photograph in which someone is clearly being shown in a bad way☺️🙌🏼

Ohhh cool, I'm so happy you like the music selection. I must truthfully admit, that I purely chose these Korean songs because they sound fantastic, however I mostly don't know what they're about due to my lack of Korean skills. But Epidemic Sound's library of songs under the genre "K-Pop" is really good including the one you asked about which is "Melt Away" by Adelyn Paik :)
