MH rise teostra is what happened when everyone called him the easiest elder dragon in world. He was like “you know what, maybe I want to have a redemption arc too!” He is now easily one of the hardest fights in Rise.

I swear he throws out attacks much more rapidly than before and I think he also dropped some of his weaker attacks he had before. I don't recall him doing any basic claw swipes (edit, he still does, I wasn't paying attention), for instance. It sure serves to sell Teostra's aggression. Easily the most violent of the Elder Dragon trio.

Agreed. Fighting a Teostra in Rise isn't so much fighting as it is SURVIVING. LITERALLY the only part of his body that gets receives normal damage is his face. AND HE MOVES LIKE A MOTORCYCLE. THIS GUY BARELY GIVE ANY ATTACK WINDOWS. *AND* even if you have high fire resistance and high defense, he still hits harder than a 18-wheeler. (Sidenote) DO NOT USE A SWITCH AXE ON THIS DUDE. Zero Sum Discharge with him rapid-firing his PAINFUL attacks is the stupidest move you can possibly do. And if you think Compressed Discharge is the answer, you'll just leave yourself open to an explosive pounding. TL;DR: *THERE'S A REASON TEOSTRA IS THE LAST OF THE TRIO YOU FACE.*
