I finally love driving my Jeep... without the Falcon 2.2 Stabilizer! Why a $49.99 stabilizer works like a charm...

I have ran mine in every setting. Even in the firmest setting I can't replicate this issue. Sounds like you have some issue with your steering setup. If you turn the steering wheel you are turning the wheels. I cannot imagine your steering box deflecting that much and not failing. Compared to the stock unit, Medium is about the same as stock, Stiff is drastically stiffer to the point where backing up in reverse it won't even return to center, and Soft gives lighter steering an more feedback. . The only way a steering stabilizer helps with tracking straight is if you have slop in the steering. Bad alignment, bad tires, bad tie rods, etc will still do their thing. . My only issue with the thing is that the fast adjuster gets ridiculously close to the diff cover.

Brooo I have the same issues!!! I had a dual rough country steering stabilizer which I honestly love no bump steer. Personally I love it. I’ve been watching videos and doing research on the 2.1 falcon stabilizer and I tell you what! I hate driving the Jeep! So much bump steer. I will be taking it off and putting my old rough country back on. Thanks for this video. I though I was the only one have this issues.

@@3ryan13 yep. Update the stabilizer was not the issue. I currently still have the 2.1 on and will be taking it off soon nothing wrong with it just upgrading to the falcon adjustable. You can buy it from me. I can’t just give it away…

I will be receiving my Falcon 2.2 today, I have 2019 JLU with the 3.6, Mopar 2" lift, and 285/70/17 OEM tires until I get the 37's installed. I just installed the lift and currently it will need an alignment, doesn't pull but the steering wheel is out of alignment. I have the tire install, alignment, speed-o adj, and headlight adj scheduled for tomorrow. Im going to put the falcon on today and give it a test drive, then again on Friday when I get it back from the dealer with the tries and all adjustments done.. I will report my findings here and see if maybe Teraflex made some adjustments or maybe bad batches. Fingers crossed.

I drove my Jeep to the dealer last night with the stock 285/70-17 tires, TeraFlex Falcon set to Medium. While it seems a little loose, it was not to bad. I would not want to drive this way at highway speeds though. I think 60mph gave a pucker factor of 3. Im picking up the Jeep this afternoon with the alignment down and 37x12.50's installed. I will keep the setting on Medium and see how it drives. Stay tuned.

Ok as promised. I got me Jeep back and on the why home had to move it to Firm. It drove fine to me until you get to 70-75 then felt way to loose. Driving at 45 and passing someone was horrible and felt the same as other reports, very loose to where it felt like I would loose control.. My wife drove it and came back in tears, hating the jeep now.. I have removed the Falcon and put the OEM one back on and it drives 200% better. It does have tire feedback and I will be moving to the Monroe like you guys are recommending.

Just spoke to TeraFlex today and since it has been installed, it is not returnable. There suggestion, run at 28psi and only on soft setting. I guess I will try this and if not well I have a nice adjustable shock for whatever I build to run it on. I guess TeraFlex lost a customer and dealer. To bad.

@@CREEPRS123 I will also never buy a Teraflex product and will turn people away from this company whenever given the chance. How are you supposed to know if something is wrong unless you install the product. I have the same symptoms. With the stabilizer on the Jeep is extremely unsafe.

I’ve got the exact same problem right now. It just moves side to side. Not terrible but I feel like I’m constantly adjusting it down the highway. Like it sways.

I had the same trouble with this Falcon 2.2 steering stabilizer. It was terrifying at highway speeds. I pulled it off and replaced it with a Monroe HD steering stabilizer, used the Falcon higher mount bracket that allows for a perfect parallel position. My '05 TJ Rocky Mtn rides excellent now, the best any Jeep I've ever had. I highly recommend buying the Falcon higher mount bracket as a stand alone item. Do some research, the Monroe HD steering stabilizer is rated among the best stabilizers and it lives up to that.

Have you had your aluminum steering box replaced to the all steel one? If so do you think the Falcon would still give you the same negative issues?

I’m going to pull my 2.2 off tomorrow. I’m having the same symptoms. I drive the Jeep with no stabilizer for two weeks and it drove like a dream. I put the Falcon Nexus 2.2 on and now my Jeep handles terribly.

I have the same issue. I have 2021 Rubicon extreme recon on 35. Soft is to lose. Med just doesn’t feel right. Very disappointed. This weekend I think I’m going back to stock. I’m a big fan of Falcon product. I’m running the 3.3 Falcon shocks adjustable love those.
