Do you need a front end alignment with a 2.5 lift?

@@stinger5800 Only if you add adjustable control arms. If you are re-using factory or using a preset control arm you do not need an alignment.

I just want to Thank Teraflex staff for being the, I recently purchase a lift kit for a Jeep through extreme terrain, when the mechanic open the boxes, peinados there were two links missing for the front sway bar, so my daughter call extreme terrain to let them know, about the parts missing , Extreme Terrain, told her to call Teraflex wich she did, Teraflex staff didn't hesitate to replace the parts no questions asked , Teraflex is the best equipment in the market, we are very satisfied with their product, I would definitely recommend this product and their staff. Thank you Teraflex , keep up the good work....

In October I bought a 24' Wrangler sport 4 Dr. 2.0L auto that came with a 3.5" TeraFlex lift on 35" Nitto's and 18" Fuel's. It's a street Jeep. A daily driver. I never plan on going off road. It drives very well and I like it. I love the stance (-;

ive always been told "go as high as you have to, but as low as you can". the olds used to run some hardcore trails in stock vehicles. 33 inch tires were massssive for the rubicon back in the 60s (mind you that was BEFORE they started plowing all the obstacles down to gravel roads too, so it was even rougher than today) these days people think you cant get through more than a puddle and a pebble without 33s and a 4 inch lift, and while they for sure make it EASIER, its not REQUIRED. my daily driver, 4 cylinder, 1 inch lifted on 29s tj sport did great in moab. i wanna upgrade to a 2 inch on 31s, but you can for sure get through most things stock. you just gotta be a really picky line chooser. (that being said, im planning on getting a "rocks only" jeep that i can beef up with a 4 inch lift, 35s, more armour, 6 cyl, etc and not care about mileage, but point is you dont NEED it, it just takes some stress away XD)

I basically do like a moderate lift but keep it low he got up there with the high center of gravity you run into flip over issues. The other consideration is if you have to drive it everyday you got to keep it road friendly as well. Have a friend in casa grande who has a rock climber and he manages to flip it almost every time he goes out.

Put a 1.5 on my KK from JBA (old man emu) spring/shock and "A" arm replacement. Drives and handles great. Needed it BAD after putting full skids, series 2 rock sliders from JCR offroad and a 107lb front steel bumper (custom made). Went from just over 6inches ground clearance to 10 from bottom of front skid. Might go to 3 and add 31inch tires but no hurry as the current set up has improved it's ability greatly.

drfreedom11 No problems so far. I got the springs and shocks. Also replaced the "A" arms (about 1/3 of the cost of the whole setup). Just put 235's duratracks on it. It's not a rock crawler but it's got enough lift to handle everything I've tossed at it. Rock rails from JCR offroad help too. Got pics so not sure how to get them to you w/o a email.

I wish I live in the US, In Australia Queensland our max legal life is 2 inch, and for the wheels we can only go 2 inch bigger then factory size so if your factory size is 31 inch you can go 33 inch, this dosen't stop people from going bigger but it would be great to drive around with are 6 inch lift and 37 inch rubber and not have to worry about getting pulled over and getting are ticket.

@chickensodelicious
@chickensodelicious 8 жыл бұрын
+Samniss Arandeen What are you looking to do? If you're just driving on forestry roads, just put some good quality 30's or 31's on it, so you don't need to lift it. If you're planning on offroading it hard and doing some crawling, suspension lift and bigger (still high quality) tires will be your best friend. Honestly, tire quality is more important than size. Don't cheap out on your rubber.

i love the kind of jeeps where you can have a conversation like this with passengers. place- forest you- so, where do you guys want to go? passengers- I don't know.... you- just point somewhere. *passengers point to your jeep's 11 o'clock where you can see through brush the top of a extremely tall hill. you- ok *you make beeline straight for that hill top and you get there.

My question is what tire pressure is best for these tires to wear better. On my last Jeep I had BFG's. I think 29-30 psi worked well. One more Question.
