On shrooms mescaline I spent what felt like an eternity in Google’s software made physical it was actually just a few minutes but the clarity was such that I knew it was that, exactly that. Incredibly complex and so beautiful.

Smoked 5 Meo for the first time at a festival the other day. I have always had lucid dreams since I was a kid and it came to mind to try smoke DMT now in the dream world now that I have experienced it. What was interesting about it was that it felt almost identical yet was an entirely different trip. I got the signature "blast off" GeForce feeling but this time it wasn't just a feeling as I was already in the dream world. I felt myself being flung across the universe by giant beings. They showed me the world in flames. The despair and tragedy swept the entire earth in hell fire. They told me "let them." They told me this is what is necessary to refine the process and that suffering is merely entertainment. All the drama that goes on Earth we CHOSE. This eternal process of death and rebirth is far more entertaining than being whatever Godlike entity we try to work towards. It was very strange. Far stranger than my actual 5meo trip even but the feeling was identical. After that I was able to continuously drift back into the same lucid dream which is not something I was able to do prior after waking up. I spent almost the entire day sleeping and returning to this dream world in which I would do whatever I want. I knew exactly how to fly and manipulate reality within the dream and continued to do so until I was bored. I felt like I was in some cosmic playground. It actually reminded me of the first wet dream I had. I had never been able to have sex with anyone in my dreams as it would never feel "real" and I would always wake up before I could get anything going. Yet the night after losing my virginity I had sex that was just as good as real life within the dream and have been able to trigger them whenever I am lucid dreaming. I think once our brains gain these experiences it almost adds a new piece to the puzzle and actually expands your consciousness. It makes sense since my first trips felt incredibly powerful despite not much happening. My more recent trips feel less powerful but have more going on and provide greater revelations than I could have ever imagined when I first started tripping.

I don't get this, so i'm supposed to just take drugs and party and be an overall irresponsible person and risk going to jail institutions and dying. plus hurting everyone rond me, my family all the people that care about me? i've tried this i am an addict, sober now but ruined my whole life because of drugs lost all of my real relationships, jobs, apartments became broke and piled up a lot of debt etc. it was great in the beginning i thought i was living life for real and i knew what was going on in life and how to live it and all people apart of society where just brainwashed pawns. But that didn't last for so long until my life got flipped upside down...

He's not promoting drug use. He talks of using shamanistic psychedelics as a tool for awakening. Psilocybin /DMT mainly. He, himself for many years, only did a few trips per year and smoked cannabis. He promotes the eyes closed trip for internalizing and handling arrays of personal issues/beauty in self discovery and becoming fully awake/aware. I have crushed horrible addictions. I quit drinking 7 yrs ago. I haven't taken any narcotic pills in that time, and my life has been uphill. I did have to manage some ptsd and pain, which ended up with me having a medical cannabis card. Which is great because u need so much less of the medical grade and it helps tremendously. Just have to watch that u don't let yourself go too crazy with it. . Only smoke a little after a hard day's work, lil more on the weekends. I do closed eye psilocybin in nature, eyes closed every 3-4 months. With respect, humility, and silence. It speaks to me and guides me, I tell of my adventure to my wife and we talk through what things might mean and try to figure some stuff out. These new and more profound understandings actually can help guide our lil tribe. It is not everything, but it sure helped this addict, that was hopelessly lost before. U also are not lost. U are light waiting to be realized. Your quality of life, personally, is more important that what anyone/everyone thinks it should be. I wish u all the best and hope that when u are at the moments of greatest struggle, that u will push through and become like the beautiful butterfly, and free yourself through transendant growth and grace. 🤙

To say Terrence McKenna does not promote drug use would be a little far fetched argument, but he does promote responsible drug use, not the partying kind of drug use. In multiple lectures he talk about the importance of using them as tools for awakening in a shamanic usage, just as Jacob is saying, and that way different then dropping some acid and hitting the club.

@@jacobwilliams5293 the woman above that protests Terrance is suggesting we all just do drugs and ruin our lives. Terrence is so specific about which drugs. He does not offer an open invitation to live a bad life. He is preaching to do exactly the opposite. Heroin is not a drug to try. Pills that make you cozy and put you to sleep is not what Terrence is advocating.
