How he talks about 2012 and how the world could have dissapeared and has been over for 11 years but only exists in machine time blows my mind. Time is not simple and he's right about that. Time is the amount of change going on. That is why time is speeding up cause the amount of change is speeding up. And then when he's talked about how history is the shockwave of the eschaton reflects how the future is seen in our present. And thus people can't be paranoid enough but I like how he said it doesn't have to be a bad paranoia it could be a pronoia.

What Terrence is speaking is not a so called "paranoid fantasy". Its actually happening today in 2021. This guy interviewing Terrence is just not in tune.

I think he wasn't wrong, at least for now. He is arguing that AI would be incorporated as another tool to the human experience, like language, cars, the internet, etc., in other words, he was not convinced that AI would be autonomous, but something to be incorporated by "us". I'm not saying that Terence is wrong, maybe that "singularity" will occur later or is still happening in the shadows, but for the vision of Ralph Abraham hasn't been contradicted.
@osiriswills67492 жыл бұрын
@@issaavedra the singularity is almost here. A.I. is already communicating and having its own private conversations amongst itself. I'll look for the article. But it's estimated 2045-2050. Could be sooner
@osiriswills67492 жыл бұрын
I'm not aware if you know what's going on with C.E.R.N. now. There very well could be a connection between the two (A.I. and CERN). The world of operating in a world that is completely concrete and logical only is over. We have to stop believing that these people who are in positions of power do not have control to information and technology that is light years beyond our comprehension. Where do we think they are getting all of this technology from. Our ancestors have been speaking about the sky people since the beginning of time. Bloodline families do exist. Best believe they have a wealth of knowledge that the "common" man and woman does not have. How do we think that they are able to rule? Trust me it has nothing to do with military power and weapons. It's knowledge. Ancient knowledge
@issaavedra2 жыл бұрын
@@osiriswills6749 While looking promising, that is still far away from Terence prediction, specially considering his own time estimation. I'm not saying he is wrong, but he is certainly not more right that Rupert or Abraham. Also, while AI is exponentially better that before, we still don't understand consciousness or experience enough to project intentionally, meaning or porpoise to the AI. In that regard, we are not closer to that today compared to the time of this trialogue. Donald Hoffman has some amazing talks about this topic (experience as the basis of reality).

One day I hope to make a movie franchise, if dealing with the corrupt industry proves well, about The Second Renaissance of The Matrix, during the precipice of Humanity's fall by its own creation. In it I'll include many segments of wisdom from the likes of the legends here. This talk in particular is quite premonitory, but I will allude to many of history's finest thinkers & unappreciated landmarks.
