Did you and your mom not cook or do things together? My mom was in a wheelchair with MS but she still taught me how to cook even in her wheelchair. My husband is Italian and he always says that I make the best spaghetti sauce he’s ever had and his father thought so too and that’s thanks to my mom, may she rest in pease. He loves all my recipes which were all taught to me by my mom and my older sister.

It stems from a parent respecting their child! Human relationships has to go both ways to function, it can’t be onesided. Children are not suppose to obey and simply show respect, they need to be guided with uncondotional love, patience and respect and gentle guidance overall, in order for the parent child relatinship to be healthy and continue after the child is no longer a child or close to adulthood. You have parents who are terrible to their children and then wonder why their kids don’t want to be around them when they have grown up and can live an independent life. As a teen I worked a side job at a service home for elderly, and a few of them expressed regret for being abusive to their kids (emotionally and physically). They were alone and the kids only came to visit for short moments at their birthday or after Christmas. They finally understood that they had not raised their child ina home sith love and safety. It was a bit much for me to take in as a teen, but I listened to them sharing their regrets. Just listen to how beautifully Teresa encourages her daiger and guides her in the kitchen and allows her daugther to not know it all and listen to the positive words when she gets through the steps or when she does something well❤ She’s not mocking her or making her feel dumb. Then also add the phone call where she expresses how proud she is of her daughter infront of her daughter. This is also important to allow a child to hear their parent speak in positive words about them with others.

I’ve been watching Teresa on TV since I was 13 years old. I was grounded and wasn’t allowed to leave the house and all of a sudden I’m bored watching TV with my mom and I see this woman just enrage flipping this table. That’s what got me hooked on housewives since. I’m 27 now. I love seeing her happy and I never rooted for any other celebrity like her. And it’s nice to see her do what she loves in a great platform, and not be in this stressful environment all the time with people that she probably wouldn’t be around if they weren’t filming the show. And this is great for me because I’m a Jamaican guy that loves Italian food for some reason 🥰💁🏽‍♂️💜

Teresa, thank you from the bottom of my heart for sharing your Sunday Sauce. My son has ASD and his food selection is very limited. Spaghetti is one of his favorites. He loves the sauce! It's very difficult to find or make a sauce that he really likes. So thank you! The sauce is amazing!! It's light & flavorful without a lot of seasoning which I love. I also made your meatball recipe. I used parmesan cheese. Absolutely delicious!! Not only did you make my son happy, you made my husband happy so once again thank you! We are both huge RHONJ fans!!! Love that tip about sautéing the meatballs in the olive 🫒 oil with onions and garlic before you add the sauce. I usually bake my meatballs separate from sauce. Your way would add more depth of flavor. Can't wait to try!!

As an African American woman Ive never tried making homemade sauce but one of my best friends who is Italian his mom and gram made the best sauce and I didn't know it was this simple. Yes this is so great!!! You are such a great mom. It’s so nice to see you in your element with your family. Our sauce is very similar we use meatballs, Braciole, ribs & hot sausage. The only difference is we use strained tomatoes, tomato paste, purée and sauce mixed together. It was so cute about filling the cans with water. I had the same question when I was a little girl and my gram was teaching us to make sauce. Love this video and can’t wait to see what’s next!! ❤️🇮🇹🍝🤌🏼

My grandmother on Sunday’s NEVER measured ANYTHING! I’m so blessed that during the Summer season, she taught me how to jar our own sauces in the basement (which was another kitchen for Sunday sauces)! That was where we bonded. She taught me and my Mom (who wasn’t Italian). I miss them both so much! My grandmother has been gone 21 years and my mother almost 2 years. Thank you for these videos! I enjoy seeing these!!!
