Teresa your meatball recipe is so much like my own that I have to tell you the difference. Maybe you’ll try my way once. I sauté garlic and onion together and put it in my meat mixture. Then the only other difference is I roll my meatballs in flour before I fry them half way. Once you throw them into the sauce, the flour from the meatballs thickens the sauce a little! It’s so delicious! Everything else is identical in our meatballs.

This episode made me so sentimental. My grandfather used to call me his porcelain doll, because I had black hair, fair skin, & blue eyes. He had a heart attack on my 9th birthday, which left him with only 10% of his heart functioning. He died just a few weeks later. My eyes turned green after he died. I know it's probably just biology, but most people's eye color is pretty locked in by the time they are a toddler, but it seemed strangely related to me. I loved cooking with my Nana. I miss my grandparents every day. It's even stronger since my husband and I bought their old house. Living here is so comforting, with memories around every corner. I can totally relate to Theresa. She's so strong & beautiful. A lot of her beauty is in her strength. Plus, my sister in law gets under my skin. Blood is so much thicker than water. I can't believe my brother is married to that psychotic giraffe. Wonders never cease.

i genuinely feel like this is the real Tre. when she doesn’t have to deal with toxic family members and dysfunction that isn’t her fault, she shows such a sweet, warm, funny, motherly side of herself.

Very nice sauce. Most recipes use less wine but I like using more like you did. I did notice you didn’t add milk. I’ve stopped adding milk and haven’t noticed a difference.
