Garr is a legend considering how many great films she's been in from Young Frankenstein, Close Encounters, Mr. Mom, Tootsie, etc. One of my favorites was a not so big of a hit film with Richard Dreyfuss called Let It Ride where she played his neurotic, near alcoholic wife who loves him, but also can't stand him and his love of betting on the horses. *Love! Valour! Compassion!* a play by Terrence McNally I almost couldn't hear what they said, because Conan was making stripper jokes. @simprove2 ай бұрын
Not really. She said "imagine if it had been female nudity" and concluded, on no evidence, that would just be nude posing. She imagined that to make her point. That wouldn't make sense in a serious play, unless it was a play about strippers. In a serious play the actors wouldn't be talking like beauty contest participants either. There are certainly many films where there's superfluous female nudity, but not stage plays.

Maybe, maybe not, when she said some people can fake being smart at the 3:04 mark, and Conan asked her how long she dated the guy, the audience thought Conan meant she faked being smart and she followed along with them, and she backtracked. It is obvious to anyone with an IQ above an earth worm that Conan meant the guy.

Conan is super intelligent. Listen to his video with Jack White, when he's not being his comedy character.

Conan should just get out of the way. His antics are not funny .

Always fun to see Teri Garr and fellow dancers movin' and shakin' with Ann-Margret in "Bye Bye Birdie!"

Teri was a great talent, and a real movie star. But she was all time great talk show guests. She's always had some gems to talk about, great delivery, and chemistry with the hosts.

Whenever I see Terry Garr she reminds me of her enticing line in the movie Young Frankenstein’s when she asks the doctor, 👨🏻🦳👍💘would you like to go for a roll in the hay?

Male and female nudity comes down to predators and prey. In the movies when they show strip clubs with women watching a show they are all up hollering and dancing to warn the rest of the group of a predator. The men watching a show are all sat quietly as to not scare the prey away. Just my theory.

Teri Garr was the perfect actress to play Phoebe Abbot. She was also quite wonderful in Close Encounters ... .

Her point was intelligent and serious and he disrespected her and made stupid jokes. I am not sure he even got the importance of her point. She politely asked to change the subject. I guess it would have been career-limiting to have walked off the stage, but he would have deserved it if she had.

I agree 100% with your statement, I was wondering if anyone else caught that, he was a total JERK through most of the interview.

Terri Garr is so much smarter than Conan. He doesn’t know when to shut up and listen to guests instead of talking over them.

You do know that Conan is a Harvard graduate don't you? He also was head of the Harvard Lampoon, their humor magazine, while there. Terry, as lovable as she is, never even went to college. She was born into a showbiz family and has performed since childhood.

@@janeelliott1548I think most great actors, musicians and songwriters never went to college. Recently this has changed but it's too hard to compare different periods.
