Counter Stance can easily be a S Tier. I know ir’s situacional, but boy, if u have Leechmonger’s ring equipped, and cast counter stance in a battle with multiple bosses or bosses that attacks more Than 2 times per turn like the Ratkins Crew, u will always have your HP on full, and never die. I would put it in the S tier

Poison Tip can be applied right before a battle to save that turn, and then it lasts for the whole battle still. I wouldn't say that makes it S, but it certainly sits at the top of A.

you can actually kill Pav on day 2 morning on the city gates, he is confronting Marcoh and you can kill him or Marcoh or both

You can kill him early at morning if you go to the Sylvania Square in the morning as Karin which is pretty easy considering you can instantly persuade and kill him in those 2 turns of hesitation.

Man, I saw inverse crown of thorns in the S tier in the thumbnail and thought “yeah finally! A good spell! I can use!” So I grinded out the whole alll-mere skill tree for it and then tried to use it before fighting logic and lost 5 hours of save progress

Fecal hounds and most normal villages (Pipe ones will still attack you) are the only thing killing intent work on. I dunno about cherubs pretty sure they still come after you based on my recent playtheiugh

based off of the wiki, what killing intent is supposed to scare off of is SPECIFICALLY Villager (Sickle) Villager (Knives) Fecal hound Fallen cherub so the pipe villagers or riflemen don't count and there's likely just some bug with the cherubs

I also have a problem with Blood Sword and Longinus aswell. They cost mind and turn to cast unless u use the white Spice Forge potion to iniciate battle with it without spending a Turn. Plus it doesn’t even deals much damage.

I'm pretty sure Executioner is glitched rn, cause I can one tap stunned enemies even without this perk (either shooting the 1st time or stunning them with booby trap). Or maybe this perk activates automatically when Levi is in the party? Cause I usually let him join me on day 1 and never find shotguns be4 meeting him. Also why is Wrench Toss op? I genuinely haven't used it once so I really don't know what it does.

yeah ppl figured out a while ago that executioner doesn't actually do anything since the two-hit kill with a shotgun already works. probably a coding issue which isn't surprising since the first game has a ton of stuff that still doesn't work properly. I really hope orange fixes it, not by making u need the ability to do that, but changing the ability entirely so it's better. 'cuz guns rn I feel are in a good spot balance-wise, and it'd be nice if Levi had at least one really good skill to make him worth using. also give him the ability to craft ammo, orange. there's gun powder in the game but we can't do anything with it what the fudge !!

​@grei4349im 3 months late but wrench toss is op because it 100%stuns the part you're atacking (unless the part has inmune to stun) so if you have abela she can shut down inmediatly the most dangerous limp from the enemy and you can perma stun

I gotta disagree hard on photosynthesis. It works during 2/3 of the game, and it lets you conserve healing items. So it's like Pav's "bury the trauma" but for the most important consumables in the game, and all it costs is a bit of hunger (who cares?) And a bit of sanity (again, who cares?). Better yet it's more like a ring of wraiths for the world map. It's a skill you should absolutely put on a party member while you give greater photosynthesis to yourself, because as best I can tell they don't stack.

Health is not an important resource lmao. Or a hard to manage one, rather. You need to conserve you just avoid combat. Not always the easiest thing to do, mind you (looking at the mob v_v ), but like, the enemy ambushes that are hard to avoid will most likely kill you even if you're at full HP so either way photosynthesis ain't helping there. Also it works more for like maybe a 1/5 of the game. It doesn't work indoors... which is where u are most of the time.

It could also be that it’s completely worthless on one of the three difficulties (Masochism), given that mode takes place entirely on the third night, and thus there’s never an opportunity for regen. So it’s all debuff for no gain.

2 Things I wanna say 1. You can find Pav on Day 2 morning if Tanaka and Marcoh are alive in the entrance to the city. If you don't kill him there he will kill both, if you do you get his Soul and back in the train Olivia and Marcoh become party members. 2. Black Smog literally carried me through the whole game. It hits everything and has High chances of blinding and poisoning plus Double Black Smog doesn't cost extra mind, It will hit everything twice and not 2 random enemies and more chance of blinding/poisoning. (Also the Greater spice not only makes the attack cost way less mind but as well makes it able to use it without using Rev Points)

Some notes: Poison tip can be set up before battle in the overworld so you don't have to waste a turn Red arc has literally can't miss even on headshots and has a high chance to stun so it's kinda game breaking. Executioner is bugged and does nothing or is already base kit Greater meditation is currently bugged and makes you unable to automatically block coin flips unless you get perfect guard first

Greater Meditation shouldnt be obtained, not only is it bugged but base meditation grants two rev points which makes this obsolete. Also get base meditation before perfect guard

Poison tip can be used outside of combat so you don’t need to waste a turn. Just apply it before you enter the battle. I haven’t experimented with it much so I’m not completely sure about the mechanics of how long it stays on outside of a battle.

Heck, on the note of talking about wanting more locked doors, frankly I want even more areas in the town to explore in general, or expansions of previous areas that otherwise had little to look for. Still haven't beaten Termina yet, but after having explored "nearly" the entire thing I'm shockingly salivating over here just to have more places to roam around in, more bits of possible lore to dig up... Like I just want "more" of what the game already has to offer, period. Oh, and more possible playable characters, and if not having a playable Tanaka they should at least do something to make his "skill tree" more inviting. At the very least maybe let/make his tree give higher stat buffs the longer he manages to stay alive in the festival or something since otherwise as it stands there's really no good reason to keep him around what-so-ever.

Once Caligura's moonscorched, he shows up in the sewers. You'll see him poking his head out of the water in a few locations down there, and if you trigger him looking a few times he'll attack

Fun Fact: A movie that came with the same name Sisu. Sisu is a Finnish word that doesn't have an exact translation but it means something close to determination,strength of will,courage and the the will to grab on that courage no matter the adversity. Hence it be cooler for the skill to do something closer to the hardened heart but still it let's you survive a round. Also is August a Finn ?

It stuns the limb that it targets and almost all early game enemies only have one limb you need to worry about. You do have to reequip, but the target limb is stunned while you do it anyway. Plus, many early enemies can be one-shot by it

Was Spice Forge changed? I swear the first spell costs mind (and that using it with scorched earth meant I ran out of alcohol pretty fast). Also it's sadly really bugged out. Your party members can also get the spell, sometimes you get a spell you didn't even have out of it (?), and enemies can use their turn right after the first spell which makes it less powerful than a regular turn. At least it doesn't require REV points...

I will put bob and wave a lot higher, is tru is rng based but with marcoh chosing agility at the begining and later full skil Marcoh carried me hard all the game, basically almost untouchable. And with the ring that give you lifesteal i was always full health. In sumary Marcoh is a really fun character to play, also jojo reference xd.

The problem with Executioner is that the upgrade it supposedly gives to trenchguns, insta killing a stunned enemy, is just how it works by default. It does literally nothing in the current version of the game.

I'd put En Garde in F tier, because when I used it against Crimson Father he got to make a free move right after my En Garde. He chose to mind control Abella. She had the meat grinder. Yeah, someone died. It's a huge lability sometimes, and I'm not sure if this is intentional.

I never go for fast stance, getting agility + 5 from the idol and +5 from the engraving skill gives every villager, ghoul or party member double actions.

the issue is there's a few fights where that doesn't cut it (Rher, Yellow King, Heartless), but Pep Pills and Fast Stance do (and Fast Stance is effectively free)

B being the average tier should contain most of the skills... The whole point is comparing them to each other, right? It should be proportional etc

It’s late, but you need to go to the church and kill Samarie, most likely on Day 2, depending on your progression. She’s in the basement and poses a fairly tough fight.

Trap craft is pretty good actually the booby traps give you a huge advantage and the definite bear trap is really nice for not needing RNG as much it's like low B or high C

En Garde as of now is bugged and doesn't do anything. And I gotta disagree with Longinus and Blood Sword, considering you waste one turn casting them and are worse than, say, black steel. Chains of torment and Rher spells too because... (80 / 50 mind? Really?)

are you referring to the En Garde keybinding? You have to bind it to a new key, since sprinting now uses Shift instead

My idea for additional party member skills: Give Olivia (as a party member) Roots That Reap by default, seeing as she comes with Photosynthesis and isn't all that useful as a party member otherwise. Also, maybe give Karin (party member) Escape Plan (altered to boost the whole party to work properly) for the same reason.
