I really respect and admire you not wanting to seek out new/alternative treatments abroad Emily. I am a doctor and I have seen too many people with cancer preoccupied with all of the organisation and fundraising that goes with seeking treatments abroad, often having been promised unrealistic results. So much so that they tend to not live life day to day or just enjoy themselves. You go out and continue smashing life because you're doing a pretty damn great job. xx

At 6:46, such wisdom from someone so young. If you watch nothing else from Emily, fast forward to that point and watch what she had to say. That she is gone is a huge loss to the world. Look at what she accomplished. I wish she'd had the time to accomplish even more. Such a bright light in the world; we were lucky she was here at all -- have to remember that.

brilliant at breakfast - You are so spot on. Emily had such wisdom as someone so young. She had an old soul. Her loss is still felt to this very day. The world was indeed a much kinder, tender, funnier, caring, compassionate, gentle, hopeful, and loving place with Emily in it. She truly does live on within each of us, always a heartbeat away. I have no doubt that Emily is shining brightly upon each of us - wherever she may be - her light can never be dimmed. Emily will shine on, always and forever. 🙏💗🙏💗🙏💗

I am a 60 year old woman, wife of 33 years and a mother of three adult disabled children. Your vlog has really impacted me! I lost my dad when I was 17 years old from lung cancer and I miss him every day! Since 2000, our family has had my son and husband diagnosed with a progressive neuromuscular disease and then our two daughters were diagnosed a couple years later! When you get news like that, you feel like you’ve been kicked in the gut! Even worse to watch my very active kids, slowly lose their ability to do things they used to be able to do! I have always told my kids to not dwell on their disease and the things they no longer can do, but concentrate on what the can still do! In addition to remember that there are always other people worse off and that they should not feel sorry for themselves. You have encouraged me to take them out ( with 2 scooters and a power wheelchair), to make memories and to embrace life! I have to say, we only recently got the scooters for our girls and so anything requiring any amount of walking was pretty much out. We are going to go and do things, make memories as life is short and none of us know when our time on this earth is done! Thank you for sharing your story! Emily was so very courageous and she fought for every moment! Aisha, you were such a rock for her, I know she loved you very much and you made her so, so happy! You were an amazing couple and the vlogs will continue to inspire people to treasure every moment, to make memories with family and friends and live everyday to the fullest! Praying for you, your family, Emily’s family and all of your friends! I know this loss is so new, fresh and extremely painful, but know that their are thousands upon thousands of people who care deeply for all of you and are praying for you! Emily will always be with you, watching over you, may you find joy and happiness again and may God Bless You! ♥️🙏🏻😇♥️🙏🏻😇♥️🙏🏻😇♥️🙏🏻😇♥️🙏🏻😇♥️🙏🏻😇

You ladies are the best. Your attitude is amazing. My dad, is where you are, terminally ill with melanoma spread to lungs, liver and kidney. His prognosis 2 years ago was 3 - 6 months. He was just having the usual treatment but has stopped due to side effects. And he is like you Em, he is living life fully and with vigor (with some limitations) and that’s the difference. You are living with terminal cancer, not dying with terminal cancer. The truth is everyone of us is “terminal” so be like Em, don’t take a single day for granted and love, live and give always. Love from Australia.

I think it is because you are natural and genuine, and you are managing a very difficult situation in an admirable way, and meeting the challenges head on, without self pity. You are continuing to enjoy life, and your example has sent me back to the gym - no more excuses to not go!

Aisha: Why have no easter eggs gone on sale? Emily: I don't know. The speed of that exchange was hilarious and just really conveyed the mood of this part of the vlog perfectly. Love to Aisha.

As someone who has been through the pain and trials of serious chemo, I completely get you about living your life and focusing on the good things. I am much older than you at 45, but I have learned first with my chemo experience and now with lupus, that you are 100% right about making yourself get up and move and do things instead of just resting. Yes, sometimes you do need to just rest, but on those days when the fatigue is horrible and the body pain is just above annoying but just below "I cant move it hurts", those are the days I have to get up and do things. It may not make it hurt less, but it makes me focus less on it and that by itself turns the dial down on the pain. Keep on doing what you're doing Emily. Aisha is sunshine personified, and you are a bright white star.

I recently came across peewee Tom's and Emily's channel. And I cant believe what I'm seeing. The courage I have seen in all the clips I have watched has taken my breath away! I didn't know humans could be as strong as what i have seen on these two channels. I feel awful to say this but I cant subscribe. The reason why is because it effects me so much mentally seeing someone go threw what they have done that it stays in my mind all day and night and actually keeps me awake at night. I actually had to make a promise to myself to stop watching these channels but everytime I come on KZbin either peewee Tom's or Emily's face is there and I cant help but watch. I can genuinely say I have cried about the most stupid things and these people who have faced death didn't even moan once! I have a son who is paralysed and will never walk. Hes 4 years old. I have had the slap in the face I needed to realise that he doesnt have the worst thing in the world. He has life and the fact he has life makes me the luckiest person in the world. I will never forget the things I've seen on KZbin ever. I just hope Emily and Dan and anyone for that matter who has ever filmed their journey so intimately knows how much it will help someone going threw the same thing. Seeing someone face what they faced with such courage will help people more than they will ever know. Sometimes if I'm In a bad mood or just feeling a bit ill with a cold or something stupid I find it an effort to just send a text but emily and dan found a strength from somewhere to somehow threw their pain edit and film clips just to benefit others whilst they were going threw hell. Just amazes me.

It’s amazing to me how loads of KZbinrs talk about how hard it is to have this or that illness and they let their life revolve around it and then .....Emily is here strong, positive and ready for anything thrown at her and let’s nothing get in the way of her happiness.

The doctors found a tumor after several hospital and emergency room visits. It turned out to be benign. However, I know now what it feels like to hear the words "you might have cancer" coming out from your surgeon's mouth. I can't imagine how horrible it must be to hear "you have cancer". I can still understand how life changing that word is. For several days until I got the results, I felt like I was a walking dead. I can fully understand Emily when she was talking about trying to hold on to the smallest things in life, like just enjoying the day. I don't even know how she did it for so many years.

A lot of people haven't figured that out at 80 years old. Keep doing what you are doing & keep loving each other!

Emily dear Emily please please look into what you should be eating to heal. The easiest cheapest treatment to live is to fill it with fruits and herbs. Your body and cell are regenerating every few week so it is possible to heal anything if you eat vibrant foods such green juices and raw fruits and vegetables! You can do this you are so disciplined, how great would it be to show people how you healed yourself, what have you got to loose. Eating meat and dairy will shorten your life that's a fact. Sending you all my love and positive thoughts, peace xxxxx
