It sounds to me like the chief is a pretty stand-up guy holding a officers accountable and the fraternal order of Police doesn't like it sounds like they have something to hide and he wants to make everything transparent! I think that the fraternal order of Police probably needs to be investigated in this guy is a good cop. Not that there are lots of good police Chiefs but this guy seems like a stand-up one holding this lady accountable. Its not retaliation or anything like that when we can clearly see the video! She's doing stuff wrong and being held accountable for it and people don't like it! The police chief should be proud of himself he's doing the right thing by the community and he's upholding the law and making sure that the rights of the citizens are not violated and making sure that a corrupt cop is off the street! Sounds like the fraternal order of Police has a problem with him doing his job correctly and not being corrupt!

As a normal police union tactics is to fulfill internal affair or professional standard units with police union activist and they they will newer find any wrongdoing. If the chief would hold his officers accountable the criminal charges would be filed 2 months ago. But for police officer it is perfectly fine to lie under the oath and DA will not do anything because police union is the biggest campaign donor in his next and also previous campaigns.

Based on the actions of the FOP in my area, if an officer is fired and the FOP complains about it, the firing is justified 99.999% of the time. The FOP is notorious for covering up for crooked, incompetent and criminal officers, and the FOP in my area fought against cameras, because they said the video would lead to incompetent and corrupt cops being fired. Literally watching the brief video clips of this officer proved 100% she should have absolutely been fired. It is comical that a chief can go through a few videos and find reasons to fire an officer if they did nothing wrong. The fact that it only takes a few videos to see she is a lying and incompetent tyrant is PRECISELY why she should 100% be fired...
