Just beautiful. Enjoy!
Brad Fiedel - Theme From The Terminator (Solarsoul Slow Ambient Version). An exclusive track from the "Dreams Channel 2 Year Anniversary" (27-06-2011).
I don't own any rights to this song, and I hope Solarsoul won't be displeased to see it here :)

I lost my dad 7 years ago to a heart attack. When he was in hospital and they had stabilised him, me and my family went to see him. We thought he was going to be ok but it was still very touch and go at that point. On our way out, I looked at him in the bed through the window. He didn’t say anything, but he winked and gave me a thumbs up. I had no idea that would be the last time I’d see him. Later that night he unexpectedly passed away after a second heart attack. It was a moment that always reminded me of that scene in T2 when he gives him the thumbs up when he descends into the lava. Whenever I hear this I always think of that moment with my dad and I’m so glad that I got to experience it.

Watching John with the machine, it was suddenly so clear. The Terminator would never stop. It would never leave. And it would never hurt him. Never shout at him or get drunk and hit him, or say it was too busy to spend time with him. It would always be there. And it would die to protect him. Of all the would be fathers that came and left over the years, this thing, this machine was the only one who measured up. In an insane world it was the sanest choice.

Indrius Seriously, you have seen the first two Terminator movies right? This is not optimistic at all. It's a eulogy for a species that intelligent enough to build cities, computers and satellites, but too stupid to see the value in life. That spent the majority of their existence killing each other, when they should've been helping each other. A species that bled the same color, but refused to see past the color of one's skin. A species that did so much harm to their own planet, that it could no longer sustain life anymore. You should know what species I'm talking about, if you don't then we're already doomed.

Makes you think about the Nuclear Fire/Judgement Day in T2. How the half the human race was wiped out by the very weapons they built to protect themselves. The T-800’s relentless pursuit of its objectives, its ability to withstand setbacks, and its singular focus on completing its mission reflect the same mindset that Arnold has exhibited in his personal and professional life. In fact, Arnold often speaks about his own journey as one of constant discipline, vision, and perseverance, which mirrors the T-800’s cold determination. This theme of unbreakable willpower, regardless of circumstances, has been a key part of both his personal legacy and the character he portrayed in the film.

My mom battled cancer for 10 years. She died yesterday after the cancer finally took over. This song makes me think about the impact she has and will have on my life as I promised her I would be rich and famous one day. I will never stop working until I fulfill my promise to her. We used to watch the terminator movies, so listening to this is sad... but at the same time it gives me peace, knowing that she is in a better place now, and almost as if I can see the future of me, accomplishing my promise to her and watching the sunset in California from my mansion.

I just watched Dark Fate, and realised the emotions i have with the series, i was a 2005 kid but grew up with the films, I remember crying everytime rewatching the scenes arnold dies or leaves(t2,t3,t4 5,t6). It's always this version of the theme that makes me go back to memories and I become emotional, not just because of teenage years and being female, just the T800 in general. Thank you Terninator,Arnold,Linda, and everyone for building my childhood.

As I accepted fate, I saw before my eyes, the life I had lived, I now realized that world no longer mattered, only eternal life, that through salvation. Never to return to the world, but to offer peace to others, whether I've been wronged or deceived, I will now set aside all worldly views and opinions and focus on redemption through which I am not worthy of, now I realize that as I am being consumed by earth, I leave a legacy behind, only to lift my hand above reaching for the sky, now knowing that as I deepen into a valley that only I can journey to on my own, not knowing the day would arrive, but my entire existence, nothing but a blink of an eye, I take the scars, the pain, the agony, with me the burdens of the world....I'll be back...👍

I'm from Shanghai, China. I started to watch repeatedly when my mom were closed in ICU due to terminal cancer. I tried to seek comfort, courage and strength to overcome the fear from losing the beloved and to keep living. To some extent, my mom is like Sarah Connor. She had to fight against death, bear the bad attitude from nurse and tolerate the terrible treatment from chemotherapy doctor. More than 7 years passed, fortunately, my children also enjoy watching this film and listening its soundtrack. I think it is probably because they have got the blessing from their grandmother (my mom) and the inspiration from Terminator.

I think this song should be played in the kung fu panda franchise especially during the tragic backstory of Tai Lung in Kung Fu Panda 1, the flashbacks when Po's mother sacrifice herself to save her son's life from the wrath of Lord Shen in Kung Fu Panda 2 and the origin story of General Kai in Kung Fu Panda 3

Picture this John Connor is now an old man and this was the music when he remembered his protector, his mother, and all the friends and allies he has lost as he spends his last years in a home by the sea, looking into the sunset.

While this doesn't give the hype that I am trying to find, I will say it's a very good alternative. And I also like the effort and emphasis you put into the sad, tormenting aprt of the song - rather then that one 5-tone beat we all know and love. Personaly tough, I feel that the slow and sad part is what really lifts the main part of the theme up above the rest of it.

I believe this is Sarah & Kyle's love scene music from T1? Not T2's main theme. But wow....all I can say is wow. Beautiful version of an already beautiful piece of music!

This and Apollo 13 are the only movies that, to date, have made me cry. It's been a lifelong journey to find out why, exactly. Something about nostalgia for a future that isn't quite attainable.
