Terminator Genisys could've been about a Civil War after Skynet's destruction. One side wants to use the time machine to stop Judgment Day from happening led by a self aware/suicidal T-1000, while the opposing side prefer to leave the things as it is, led by Connor's descendants. This conflict led to time travels which messed up the time line as they discovered for Skynet to not exist, neither would John Connor.

One has to think that there was one version of the script, at one point or another, that had JK Simmons' character be Dr Silberman, but that they changed it for some lame reason, to make him empathize with Kyle and Sarah for saving his life as a young cop. @@12ealDealOfficial I have zero idea how you came to conclusion that Chinese somehow have to do with Terminator movies being shitty. Every Terminator movie after T2 was made with no vision on how to continue the story, they just made them because some dude or company owned IP. Same with some other series like Alien, Predator or Texas Chainsaw, it's just pure cash-in, not any artistic vision for the series.

I've never understood the logic behind the creation of "personal photos" in movies. Either they have the actors stand in front of a green screen, composite in a (often random) background and produce an OBVIOUSLY fake looking image, or they try to badly recreate something from a previous entry in a franchise. For the former...just TAKE AN ACTUAL PHOTO AT A RANDOM LOCATION. It's got to be cheaper (and better looking on film) than the alternative. For the later, was there really that much of an issue with a high quality image of the actual photo, muting the color grade to denote age, printing that out and burning the edges for effect? Once again, it had to be cheaper than paying a terrible look-alike for a day of work to pose for a bad photo and likely would have looked FAR BETTER on film. And in the case of Genisys, it's even more baffling seeing as how they went to such extreme lengths to recreate other key moments from the original film in such exacting detail. Why cheap out on the picture? Why are photos so hard for Hollywood?
