Hey Josh, Thank you for making this “dream” come true. It’s absolutely everything it needs to be. I was apprehensive when the video started because I didn’t wanna be let down, but on the contrary, you’ve left this fulfilled reality come to life. I’ve always thought someone with the right vision to piece the jigsaw puzzle together in a true form with the original material. Your sound and music editing are on point! I swear, it almost got to the point where I was going to start learning how to make videos so I could attempt what you have created. It can’t be outdone so we’ll leave this in its rightful place….. at the top of the search results. It needs no competition nor could this masterpiece ever be placed in jeopardy. So with all that being said…. Well done my friend! Thank you for this proper piece of cinematic art!

CGI is just a tool, a powerful tool at that which allows film makers to do things that would otherwise be impossible to shoot. For example, the Transformers movies would not be possible without CGI, there's just so many examples of why its useful. True they need to limit its use but take for example a scene where u need to blow up a building, wouldnt it be better to use CG instead of blowing up an actual building? Or how about blowing the the pyramid of Giza, how the hell are you going to do that & make it look good? Doing that with props looks like trash compared to modern CGI.
@cheath87055 жыл бұрын
@@XTheDentist - CGI is great IF used properly. I've seen many times that the producers overdone it. Big turnoff! Star Wars "Special Edition" is one fine example of overuse and out of place use of CGI. Recently, I watched Star Trek, The Motion Picture. I see some things being out of place and not being part of the movie but rather look like patches with use of CGI. I watched one transformers movie. IMO, it's a dumb movie. Look at the movie, Ten Commandments from 1956. That was way pre-CGI. It was incredible considering it's time.

Well in 1991 when T2 came out the cold war was over, in 1984's T1 they didn't show nukes, just AI going crazy. So when they showed AI going crazy there wasn't an imminent risk of AI going crazy, and when they showed nukes there wasn't an imminent risk of nukes being used. Now we are developing machine learning algorithms in industry and no doubt they are being used behind the scenes in defense. People like Bill Gates, Stephen Hawking have specifically warned us of the risk of a technological singularity and we are doing nothing about it. Nuclear proliferation is on the rise, with old treaties on missile defense and the weaponization of space being left and/or ignored. Don't get me wrong, the impact of T1 and T2 was immense when they came out, because they were so well made, but if an equally well made film came out now it could be even more intense.

Quentin Daniels, having been born in 1970 I was around for the Cold War and living in the suburbs of Philadelphia which was one of the Ground Zero Zone Cities we saw a lot of films about Nuclear Armageddon and had Stop Drop And Cover Drills in elementary school but by junior high school such drills wouldn't save anyone and the evolution of nuclear weapons since the bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki rendered bomb and fallout shelters obsolete. Terminator didn't have a Nuke scene Terminator 2 Judgement Day did but the Cold War was over when it was released. We didn't fear what we couldn't control as children and teenagers especially the real inevitable threat of a third world war that would bring about a Nuclear Apocalypse so we just put aside any fears of dying and lived everyday as though it was our last. Now the children and teenagers are faced with another Cold War starting up between Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin after they dissolved the Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty which was signed to end the last Cold War of 1945-1991.
@19zach755 жыл бұрын
I was born in 1975, and I specifically remember in the 80's president Ronald Reagan and Mikhail Gorbachev trying to nullify a nuclear Cold War possibility. But before that, there were drills at school, and public service announcements regarding a very real possibility of a nuclear war. A movie about nuclear war titled, "The Day After Tomorrow" was aired throughout the country in an effort to present citizens with a terrifying view of what nuclear desolation would look like.

@cretinousjester34756 жыл бұрын
Or how about "What happens next?". With SkyNet gone, the Terminators and other machines are just sitting there. Future warlords may arise after John Connor's passing and they'll want weapons and especially-troops. And in the middle of it all- the last T-800. The last Terminator. Struggling to find a place for itself and its human wards. It battles the power-hungry humans and their machine armies both. New and fertile ground for story telling. Maybe even a crossover into Mad Max. ;)

Computers and Robotic Machines will be left but not for long as the machines will see themselves as superior and turn on their Masters and not provide for their needs and starve them into extinction next. Blanketly applied to whom we choose as our companion all the way to whom we pair up as to ensure our DNA matches for the best progeny aa the future generation. This is an awesome Appetizer before Terminator : Dark Fate teaser comes out a few hours from now : May 24 2019. Oh Yeah, Dark Fate is produced by James Cameron and has Both Arnold and Linda Hamilton back in it. SO YEAH !!! cross fingers the TEASER becomes as good as we all wanted it to be.

The trailer was a mixed bag. I've seen people on both sides; it's good and bad. I have sequelitis, so I will welcome any addition to the franchise. So far, I'm very excited for the new film, despite a few flaws.

Kyle Reese must’ve been ultra pissed when his fuck buddy died @ 4:48. There aren’t many women left on Earth, let alone ones that are as good looking as her that are also ultimate badass warriors against genocidal machines.

This is probably the best Future War Terminator movie we'll ever see... however, within 2-3 months we'll know 100% for sure, because Dark Fate is coming, and if this time even James Cameroon screws everything up, then it's all over, there's no hope anymore, I'll simply accept T2's ending as the end of Terminator movie franchise, like the future war never happened and was prevented by the events of T2 and that's it....

DF comes out on November 1st. We only have to wait 42 days. :)

@@JoshNitsche Yeah, let's hope for the best (I don't wanna judge before I see it). Btw, an awesome video you got there, honestly the best handmade future war video I've ever seen hands down.
