Terminus Rifle Build

An update on the custom rifle builds we offer based on the excellent Terminus Kratos Lite action, 3 lug bolt, receiver and bolt finished with DLC treatment which makes it very durable, very smooth and sharp looking. McMillan Hunter stock in McWoody marble shown here; Hart match stainless barrel, our muzzle brake, quick release floor plate, Talley scope rings, Picatinny scope bases and, as always, our preferred choice of a Leupold scope.
This rifle shot a .342 group with a handload made for this rifle.
All of Randy’s rifle builds are offered with a complete load work up, specifically for that individual rifle. Not something that is just worked up for any rifle of that caliber.
Randy is not confined to just this action. His offering is so much different, as he can and has built rifles on Rem or Rem foot print action, but he also builds on any type of action. Mauser, Springfield, Enfield, Win actions, pre and post 64, etc.
He will build rifles with McMillan stocks, [no chassis, please!], other options, such as laminate stocks, but also makes full custom wood stocks, pieces of art work that will be heirlooms to pass on, checkered or not. He takes pride in his work.
Rifles in light weight, heavy weight, bench, takedown, heavy game, and has a wide selection of configurations toto choose from, in a wide variety of calibers.

I have watched every video from Randy I believe he is the very best rifle builder out there. His ethics and morals should be followed by the future generations of our kids. I have had my kids watch all his videos also and hope they remember his teaching. I don't currently own one of his rifles but I hope to in the future.

I'm a recent graduate of AGI and currently work at a small shop doing minor repairs and modifications. My local market just doesn't call for custom builds but I would love to apprentice under a guy like Randy. I believe a great gunsmith starts as an adept machinist. The money is in custom builds and if you're not doing that you won't make anything in this trade.

Hi Randy. After watching some of your older videos about 7mm and ethical hunting I have enthusiastically subscribed. It seems that finding new rifles from manufacturers that still offer hardwood stocks is limited. It seems the best course of action is to build one from scratch.

I've never had the money to have a custom rifle built by anyone but I have several that other folks had built and I was able to obtain for a reasonable amount of money and good old fashioned horse trading. All 98 Mauser actions. 257 Roberts, 7x57 Mauser, 35 Whelen and my pride and joy 338-06 built by Iver Henricksen. Not the fanciest he ever built but still really nice.

I have a 7 Rem Mag Randy built with a maple stock, Hart barrel, and it shoots everything great. It's just too pretty to use most the time. I need to decide what caliber I want and have him build me a rifle on this new action with a fiberglass or carbon fiber stock. I'm probably going with a 7mm that factory ammo is available. May be the Weatherby 7 mag.

No, I haven't. I do have video on how to load, using a 1", tenth micrometer and a chronograph. Since we have your email, if you can't find the video, send a message and Cathy can give you a link.
