and yes, I was very disappointed watching this show. I wanted Land of the Lost for adults/Jurassic Park the series and got a shittier Lost but more family friendly

Ah shit, it seems I can’t find an example of how Camp Cretaceous did this better because they had the good sense to keep their dinosaur show dinosaur focused. Hmmm…. Oh, there WAS an episode where Sammy was stung by a dinosaur and Yaz, a champion runner, had to marathon across a dinosaur infested island to grab the antidote. It was an emotional and tense episode interspersed with flashbacks to their relationship and Yaz realizing her own romantic feelings for Sammy when faced with the threat of losing her, and was far better because a) it was gay, and b) everyone seemed to ACTUALLY CARE one of their number was slowly dying.

@@speurtighearnamacterik8230 What counselor would say that? “Basically any feelings you have if you are stressed are fake and you can only have ‘real’ feelings if you aren’t stressed or traumatized” is complete bullshit. Stress and trauma alter your feelings but putting a blanket diagnosis of trauma bonding over literally any positive feelings you have is ridiculous. They had a long term friendship with romantic tension before that episode and the long run was just the catalyst. It’s perfectly natural to realize just how close you are to a person when you can no longer take the person’s presence for granted.

One big reason CG blows is how expensive it is. As such, there were barely any Cyclons on Battlestar (admittedly I have watched fuck-all of new battlestar). If they mixed the effects up with puppets, models, marionettes, artful shadows, prosthetics, paintings and cartoons these shitty effects would be cheaper, easier and probably look better.

Well that was informative. I think I stopped after watching two...maybe three episodes. It was just so insultingly bad that I just gave up...and I made it through The Walking Dead. Also, nice to see you reference The Lost Skeleton of Cadavra, that was a fun movie!
